The number calls continuously. Some days I am getting 10 calls on my mobile phone from them 10 minutes apart from each other. I suspect some type of scam as I know of 900-xxx-xxxx numbers. I never answer and I don't call back.

"900" numbers can charge you if you call back.

File a complaint with FTC.  It is illegal for telemarketers to use an autodialer to call your cell phone without your permission.

Complaints against this number started in August 2007:

It appears that an outfit operating under the name "United Lending" may be showing as either 900-968-1875, or as 800-968-1875:

Just call 1.800.746.6753.     This is a number I got b/c of the post from Stopcallingme.    There are two companies: united states lending and smart advertising solutions.   They are the same company.   I got a hold of a live person right away, who was very courteuos and assured he would get the problem fixed right away.   Hope this helps
    Caller Type: Telemarketer"

Not clear whether the 800 and 900 numbers are the same outfit.

800 number appears to be mostly identified as "United Lending", possibly linked to a call center in Bangalore, India.  No clarity on how "legitimate" their "lending offers" are.

900 number appears to be mostly identified as "United Services", and is reported to have a pitch similar to other "United Services" complaints, including possibly being located in Las Vegas.  See other scam reports on them.  Reports of "you've won a prize", as well as possible "payday loan" "advance fee" loan scam, etc.  Other reports of substantial unauthorized withdrawals from bank accounts associated with calls from this number.  May be phishing for information sufficient to put thru unauthorized charges.  Given "United Services" past history, I wouldn't put it past them to use a 900 number to be able to charge callers trying to call back and stop their harassing calls, or just using a phony 900 number, or even someone else's 900 number, to block attempts to call back.

Here are other complaints against "United Services" under another number:

"United Services", sounds like lead-in to their "shopping spree" scam, also reported elsewhere.  Note additional reports of using spoofed caller id: "888-888-8888".

"United Service" and "Unified Services" show the same M.O., may be the same company.

    Scam and cheating!

I do not know how I got into this trouble. I wish I have read these complaints first before I was sucked into their LIE! They said the same thing, 3 days and 2 nights and a $1000 shopping spree. I was hesitant but they said that I am not obligated and I can cancel anytime. They are pure evil! I was waiting for the catalog from the mail to come and when it did not come and my account was not charged the $1.95 for the shipping, I thought, thank God, they forgot about it. I had a hunch that it was a scam.

Lo and behold, 1 month later, I was $149.80 less "rich"! I was definitely surprised because I did not receive anything.

And looking back at the date of the complaints, I cannot believe that they are still at it! OMG! "

I was scammed by Unified Services, don't let it be you next!

I received a phone call saying I had won a cruise and $1000 dollar shopping spree, and all I needed to do was pay a small fee for $1.95. The phone representative assured me that that no other fee would be taken from my checking account. I was very hesitant, but I accepted into the company's scam. Now on three different occasions Unified Services has taken money from my checking account without my permission. A total of $287.00 was taken from my checking account. Unified Service informed that I was paying for diet pills, online services, and phone services. I do not need to diet pills; I have wireless internet already; and I have phone. Unified Services did repay $69.00 to my checking account but refused to pay $149.80. If united services scammed you and took your $150.00 for nothing, I would love to file a class action law suit against them so that they know that it is unacceptable to treat people like this. This is my email address tonreeves@hotmail.com. "

Unified Services Corp (the SCAM company), was started in July, 1997 by Michael T. Warren who also runs these scams:  Wealth Investment Network; The Warren Asset Institute; The Michael Warren Group; Unified Services Corporation; New Castle Marketing; Michael Warren; Global Investments & Wealthnetwork.com  Warren bills himself as a real estate guru, get rich quick guru, get rich through foreclosure guru and numerous other "gain wealth" trickeries.  Apparently, the company is based in Colorado, perhaps Colorado Springs but it's hard to pin down.  They like to use an address of a legitimate Colorado real estate company which has a Las Vegas address.  Foreclosures.com has had a number of complaints about Warren when he is wearing his "foreclosure guru" hat.  He's been arrested in Colorado (2003) for "fradulent financial practices".  Don't know what happened in that case but he is back in business.  This link has his picture, a PO BOX for Unified Services, and a local phone number.
