The so called secure site at Newegg.com is not so secure.  I was hit with a fraudulent charge from this site on 7/12.  When I called to inquire When I called to inquire about it, "their computer was not working well".  They could not find what I had allegedly purchased.  They were able to find my name and personal information but were not able to locate the purchases.  In short they told me they could not help me to go to the police and file a police report, and to go to my bank and file a fraudulent charge claim.
End result, newegg’s is not too secure so its BUYER BE WARE.

You don't need their help to file a dispute of a fraudulent charge with your bank, nor to file a fraud complaint with the police.

Your statement showing the fraudulent charge is all you need.
That should be sufficient to file a police complaint so you can get a copy of the police report.

Immediately contact your bank to block your card number or close the checking account, to prevent additional fraud.  Be sure to send a written fraud dispute to your bank, to the address for disputes from your statement, and make sure they receive if within the 60 day FCBA or FRB Reg. E dispute period from the statement date.  Follow up with a notarized fraud affidavit or police report.

Charge of $304.99 on my debit card on April 26, 2012 from a company called
www.newegg.com.  This is fraud as I never heard of such company let alone ordered anything from them.  Too late to call as I just discovered it at 7pm.

I usually check my accounts on line every day or so.  I just checked and found that on 04-26-2012 I was charged an amount of $304.99 from www.newegg.com from my credit card.  I never heard of this company let alone ordered anything from them.  It is too late to contact anyone now as it is after 7pm today or-28-2012 so will have to call on Monday ASAP.

They tried to hit me for $849.99, but thank goodness I bank with a small local institution, and they flagged it.  Never even heard of this site!  So, thanks to them I have to get a new card and change all the accounts that I had auto payments set up with.
