They ordered wrong furniture

I ordered furniture through DirectBuy from their quarterly catalog.  They misprinted the number for the chair I wanted and the living room furniture came with a love seat instead of a chair.  I called them and they said they would get it fixed.  It was not the manufacturer's error it was their error.  Before the chair came, the manufacturer went out of business.  Now they are telling me that I can have the furniture delivered (at my expense) to their showroom and when it sells they will give the money.  But they cannot give me a refund and take the wrong furniture back because the manufacturers went out of business.  They are scammers and it is likely time to sue them.

    UPROMISE
    Hi
My sister and I went to DirectBuy

And found out that they do not disclose the membership fee until after the 90 minute tour or presentation.

First the they need to disclose this information before they send out invitations this way, I can decide if I even want to come.

Second, my sister just came alone for the ride....because I had added her name....if she doesnt not become a member...this means that she has refused the membership invitation....and they will not invite her back for 7 years...IMAGINE THAT! She didnt expect to be paying thousands of dollars for a membership fee the same day  So because I invited her she cannot be a member because of my invitation..And the 30 Day trial...once that is up and you do not become a member you waive your right for 7 years...

...who cares about the finance which is 17.75% interest rate charged by a bank.....And if you want to take advantage of the membership...you have to still put down money and pay monthly or whatever amount is agreed upon....ONe plan only offers that you put $3,000.00 up front and pay the balance in 12 month installments. And you cannot pay over that 12 month period... unless you are financing at the 17.75%

Third, it benefits those will will buy a lot of items for their homes or their rental properties...by doing this you may save thousands by subtracting the membership of each dollar amount saved on a reduced item(s) but could easily add up with shipping costs, handling fees, state and local taxes, and manuafactures costs...

Fourth, now after you pay....this membership depending on the gold, silver or platinum package....you wont find out if you have actually saved until after you purchased the items plus all the additional costs.

Fifth, now do you get refunded for not saving on all the additional costs...NOTE. YOU WILL SAVE ON THE ITEMS but this is  not including the additional expenses adding in...

I hope that people are satisfied in their purchases....because you really don't hear too much rave about this company....I like the word of mouth advertising....and this is my scoop on Direct Buy... I guess the thousands of dollars up front fees ($6900-$5900) scare a lot of people especially in this economic tsunami.
