Actually no complaints

I really shocked by all the complaints on the Dirt Devil vacuums.  I bought my Vision from Walmart back in early 2004 for around $250.00.  I've never had an issue.  Just recently the belt broke.  It's the first time ever.  Though Dirt Devil suggests changing the filter every 6 months, I've only changed it 3 times in the last 6 years!  Granted that's why the hose is clogged but hubby is getting that unclogged.  Even with it clogged it still has suction and even picks up the little pieces.  I'm not sure why so many are having issues but then again I'm not sure which vacuum they bought as most did not say.  And I've always believed in you get what you pay for.  You buy a $50 vacuum well you are going to get a $50 vacuum.  You buy a $500 vacuum you are going to get a $500 vacuum..you wouldn't expect paying $1500 for a car and for it work like a $20,000 car so don't expect a $50 vacuum to work like a $500 vacuum.  Like I said I bought my Vision for around $250.00 over 6 years ago and it still works like a champ even with me not taking good care of it.
