    The telephone number posted above is the FTC, not the FCC. It is the Federal Trade Commission - and they will take your complaint on the telephone - or you can file a complaint via their website: www.FTC.gov

    Proof that current laws mean nothing to these scum suckers, same companies that have been sued in the past:

    Write our Congress and Senate. We need CRIMINAL penalties against the companies that are profiting from these calls. Follow the money, slap them in jail, no one left to outsource to overseas boiler rooms, problem solved.
    Since they are operating across borders it should become a federal felony and should be handled by the FBI under the RICO Act.

    I keep getting calls from Card Services.  The number that shows on my caller ID is 360-474-3968.  When I call it to have my number remover, a recording states it eill be removed in 24 hours. Of course it never is. I am on the do nt call list, but it does no good. I get the same called at least twice a day. I have tried to talk to someone but they just hang up. I have sole blocked two other numbers, 832-377-3059 & 508-475-1394. These other numbers say the same thing, although on caller ID they show up as different company names, or the number is no longer in service. I have complained to the FCC, the FBI, my phone provider, and others. No one seem to beable to do any thing.

    I too am on the Do Not Call List and I keep getting the same call week after week from 360-474-3968 I have asked nicely time & time again for them to take me off their list but it seems they have not. Today 8/15/2012 the women on the other end of the phone cussed because I said I didn't have any credit card much less any debt on one. She called me a [***], [***], [***] and a [***]. Well as I am Cajun I gave it right back to her . She didn't like that one bit. She especially didn't like it when I saying things about her Dad... I must of said some kind of truth in there somewhere because she said OMG it's you and hung up lol. I hope that ends the calls but I kind of doubt it.

      Cardholder Services continues to violate TCPA, TSR and the RICO Act-
      Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act U.S.C. Title 18, Chapter 96 § 1962:

      Sections 891-894 (relating to extortionate credit transactions), section 1028 (relating to fraud and related activity in connection with identification documents), section 1029 (relating to fraud and related activity in connection with access devices),”
      Section 1 of Pub. L. 91-452 provided in part that: "The Congress finds that (1) organized crime in the United States is a highly sophisticated, diversified, and widespread activity that annually drains billions of dollars from America's economy by unlawful conduct and the illegal use of force, fraud, and corruption;

    A fellow victim posted this on another site...I am posting here for you, too.

    The reason these same automated calls appear to come from all over the country is because they are ALL personal identity phishing SCAMS! There is NO service or telemarketing company to bother wasting time with reports to the Do Not Call Registry. After some months of this nonsense, I only discovered the truth behind it from a rep at Chase Bank who said they knew all about this racket because of the apparent similarity to one of their divisional names. The ONLY answer is to IGNORE such calls, however much they proliferate. And maybe refer any caller ID info (number, date, time, city and/or state of origin) to the FBI as I did for further investigation and, hopefully, correlation of numbers and locations to sting these criminals. At least one advantage I found of keeping the multiplying numbers in my iPhone from continuing to distract and irritate was simply to assign them all to a single contact I titled "Card Member Services" scam AND then assigned a SILENT ringtone I'd devised so I would NEVER hear any prior numbers calling again. In the months since, I've cut the times I actually hear any new number ring from several a day to just one a week, at most. And then pass it along to the FBI . . .

    I have the option of sending phone calls directly to voice mail.  Once I get a call from an unrecognized number, I wait to see if they leave a message.  If not, I check on the internet to see if other people are getting calls from this same number.  If they are...I leave a message about the scams for the others, then I enter the phone number into my phone's memory and assign it a name like, "Spammer"...then I can divert the call directly to voice mail and never get another ring from that number again.  Since these people never leave a message, they just go to voice mail limbo and I never hear from them again.  I've cut the number of calls from several a day to maybe once a month.

    This number, randomly calling my cell... I'm on silent mode inside a library... I still take a chance at whispering hello, without knowing how long it rang...
    Still there's a chance for a "person" if there would be one, to reply "hello".
    Instead there are about 2 seconds of silence and IT hangs up.
    - I google the number, and find there already are reports on it!
    hope IT gets canned.
