They call me at all hours of the day. I am on a maternity leave and they have been calling my office every day. They accuse my coworkers in lying and covering for me because they say that I am on leave.  I tried to talk to them but they are threatening me with police and say  they will take my vehicle.

    I am having the same problem with them right now too.  My husband has been laid off for several months and we have been struggling like crazy to make our car payments.  They did defer one car payment earlier this year, but we are getting so bahind in our bills that I cannot continue to make the car payment.  Everything I have read online says to contact your lender, that they will work with you and try to work something out because the last thing they want to do is repossess the car.  Well I called them today and they will not budge. They told me that because they already deferred my payment once they cannot do it again and they don't offer any other help whatsoever. I tried explaining to the lady that I have heard that lenders will cut payments in half for a few months or assist in some kind of way to work with the customer, but she said they do not do any of that. So I am at a loss. I don't want to have the car repossessed. I want to keep the car, I just needed a little help for a couple of months. It's really disappointing that they won't work with us at all.  And I too am getting several phone calls a day. Luckily I have caller ID at home and at work so I don't even answer their calls any more.  I don't know what to do at this point!

    I was going over all the emailon here and have had the same problems if not naybe more they have given my account info to someone that is not on my account nor related to me, they have called me at work when told to stop,they will call me and leave a msg and 2 seconds later turn back around and call again and leave another msg, a friend answered my phone and told them who they were talking to and they told her that they do not belive her and that i can not run.think that is bad heck trying to pay them off has not been fun either they would not take payment over the phone and the same day i was getting the check for them and spoke to them and got the pay off amount they called my job 5 mins later and sd that the will be a driver out front and want the keys to my car. So I then paid the amount they told me for the pay off and my account still shows that i owe them. Something really needs to be done they are not following the FDCPA gide lines. I would be more them willing to join you in a class action suit if your friend of the family atty can do anything please let me know. fritzk94@yahoo.com

    I am right there with you. They have contributed to my stress and embarrassment at work.  I have never been 30days late and if I am even a day late they start calling and don't stop.  The calls to my place of employment were terrible.  I am no longer employed because of the stress at my job and I want to take action against CPS.  Keep me posted as I will be looking into an attorney as well.

    Can enough of us get together to get a class action suit against this company.  I have made several payments to them to only have them come back and tell me I owe for the same payment I made.  Something is very fraudulent about this company.  I got sick, faxed all of my medical information to them, but they still will not work with me.  They said my car is up for repossession now.  Something is not right about this company and even someone who said they work there said they practice illegally.  Let's do something about this now

    I would like to get together with as many people as possible to put a stop to these people's practices.  It is a shame and they must be stopped. They definitely operate under fraudulent practices.

    They have called my friends and told them they were calling me looking for my car because I was behind and they were going to take the car.  They should be made to pay us.  This is very unethical and I have never worked with anyone like this before.  You never even speak to the same person twice.

    I am going through the same thing with CPS right now.  I offered to give them 4 payments in two week increments.  They said they can't take it.  They are the only creditor I have that won't work with you.  They told me the car has been sent out for repo and they will do a judgement or something against me for concealed car.  It's not concealed; it's at work.  And you know what, in this economy, and there's someone willing to sacrifice 4 payments in this time, and it's close to holidays and they don't want to take it, I will find someone who will.  Sometime I think they just pass you around to whatever CSR is available so they can see if they can get the payment from you.

    I feel you.  They also tell you they give you an extension, but they really don't and that's why they come up with as many months of you being behind.  Something's fraudulent about this company and I really feel we will all find out what it is even without us doing anything.

    I too am having the same exact problem and the someone to repo my car because I owed them $35 dollars. That is totally ridiculous, If moving forward on any action I would love to be a part of it. My email address is fwbuz2000@msn.com

    I have been trying to get in touch with CPS(Consumer Piece of S***) for about 3 weeks regarding my loan that was transferred from another Financing company. I have been leaving messages and noone calls back. This company just received my loan a month ago and I am going to find another financing company.

    omg - they are calling everyone I know telling them they are repossessing my car.  WTF.  My payment is only 2 weeks late.  I sent the check in the mail on Friday.  Today is Monday.  They keep calling.  I HATE these [***].

    I bought my suv in MD 2 years ago, and moved to SC last year. I agree with everyone about CPS. I have experienced all of what I read with them!

    I have been dealing with cps since 2004 if I had known what I know now ...I would have left my car on the lot ..they call me every two days 4 times a day it does not matter if I'm late or not .I have never been more than 30 days late they have tried to coerse me to take payday loans they have harrased me by stating they will reposses my car on a monthly basis ...they have called me stupid,hung up on me,submitted checks againts my account without being authorized,harrassed my contacts..today was the ultimate the icing on the cake a guy calls my phone and states this is cps you know what this is about and hung 13 sec message then calls my husbands job requests to speak to him they state he not there they call the security a liar state they are going to be repoing my car curse her to all be damed and say then you better warn him to not come to work because well be there to take his car of course the lady is shaken up and upset when my husband gets to work she tells him what happened and then he calls to tell  me the person the loan is with. my payment was due on the 8th with a ten day grace period making the 18th today still not officially late!!!! I can't wait to be done with these people.

    OMG!! I have been through the same crap with these JERKS!!! I've dealt with the office out of AZ. My sister had them too and they were the same with her also. They've called before and tried to fake an accent and say they were from some repo co. and were coming to get my vehicle. When i looked up the company of course it didn't exist. They've done that TWICE. They have called and harrassed my employers. A man who claimed to be a manager SCREAMED and CURSED me out on the phone when I called to make a payment! He REFUSED my payment and was just a complete schmuck! He told me that i would speak to no one but him when i called and that he didn't HAVE to take my payment! I contacted the BBB, FTC and The Attorney General and filed complaints and reported them. There needs to be a class action on these A** Holes!! As consumers we have rights that ought to be protected from ppl who conduct business this way!
