I have a cellphone connection under CUG scheme. Cell no. is 9996036187. Every week I am receiving messages read as "Thanks for using (subscriptions, Text based Services) subscription service on Airtel WAP. You've been charged Rs 20. Enjoy http://gclub.in "
from number 64611020.
I never subscribed for any such service but amount is being charged @ Rs. 20.00 per week in the bill. I contacted customer care several times, they reply that " you are not subscribed to any such  service and the said amount has been waived off." but soon messages starts coming and amount is charged as per message.
Please get the amount reversed and unsubscribe from any such services.

    Such type of complaints are on the rise from Bharti airtel limited cellphone services.
    Should be restricted and services provider should reverse the amount with some amount of penalty.

    I fully agree to this customer. Airtel ranks first in such matters. Always it is seen that an amount of Rs 5/-   or 10 to Rs 25 is deducted automatically from balance amount from prepaid customers. When one try to lodge complaint,we have to listen about their plans as below-:

    hindi ke liye 1 dabaye- airtel ab laya hai yeh plan aur wo plan,--down load ring tone at ..... pichle menu me jane ke liye 7 dabaeye. the time consumed is 20 minutes and in most of the ocations no option is there to lodge complaint with CC.\

    I think that is the best way to generate funds.

    my no is 9630777807 and always I had been facing such problems.

    Recently while going out of station,I had got a recharge done and boarded train on 22/10/2009. I got amessage that recharge not successful.
    Since then I am trying to contact airtel CC but the faltu recorded message is played and call drops.
    I fail to understand as what sort of fraud is this. The matter should be reported to TRAI?

    Airtel is charging for services which are not subscribed and provided. one such is hello tune which I never subscribed but automatically forced on my mobile and started collecting Rs 30/- for 30 days in the past 2-3 months. repeated sms messages and converging with customer care didn't yield result. I lost Rs 70/- for the service called "Ishqkiya", which I don't know what it is. This not a first instance. Previously they charge around Rs 90 for the service called Cricket SMSs, for which I had not subscribed.

    Today Airtel closed my spouse's call in the middle saying low balance, although she charged the mobile with five coupons of Rs. 20/-  each. There should be a balance of around Rs 70/-, but these mad customer care operators are saying the balance is valid till 17th Jun 2011, even though there is no validity mentioned on the coupons. So frustrating and very annoying.

    Customer care 121, 198 are not customer friendly and do not respond properly to enlighten customers in stopping unwanted sms and calls.

    Please let me know if I can do something to sue Airtel. I am willing to file PIL in the court or TRAI if needed or as per RTI act.

    Airtel is harassing the customers like anything.
    People are already facing other issues related to bad governance, corruption, Inflation and living with great stress, and Airtel like mobile operators adding additional stress.
    This is unbearable. ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGgggggg
