TIME FOR THE MAYAN TO PUT THEIR MONEY WHERE THEIR MOUTH IS! WHY DO THEY HAVE TO BORROW ANOTHER COMPANY'S NAME i.e. THE WYNDHAM?

The Grupo Mayan is still hanging on to my money, the money that I gave them nearly three years ago. It has been a question of them sticking to keeping the money as long as possible despite my having been there at the Mayan Palace to get it within the "cooling off" period. I was more than "cooled off" I was totally "iced up". And nothing happened. The "cooling off" period under Mexican law is not regarded as important by these people.
As regards the offer of half of the money by Ms Rose in an email to me lately, well that too is out of the question, as I cannot be made to sign a "settlement" if the matter has not been settled! So the long and the short of it is that the last attempt at causing more problems didn't work. I am subsequently waiting for the Mayan to turn a new leaf and recognise that once they return the money owed for a cancelled contract, we can proceed to have the settlement signed, sealed and delivered without further ado. And also the comments made can be erase then and only then. But it it continues like this interest will be added for every week that I have to wait for my money. Three years is more than anyone can tolerate.
Why do they trade under the name of Wyndham, for which they have an agreement, apparently? Is it not better to simply work on their own name and build up a good reputation for it!!!
The BBB have given the company the lowest rating possible. The UK Timeshare Consumers Association likewise says that they are "not Kosher" as a company. I mean where does it all end? Surely the Mayan have a lot to do to raise their credibility ratings......no one should be made to wait for their money to be returned for an officially cancelled contract. No wonder the ratings are not good! Doesn't anyone there at the Grupo Mayan recognise the importance in business of having a decent reputation.

True to our commitment to Customer Care and in an attempt to resolve Ms. Christopher’s situation in good faith; we contacted her and offered a resolution. Verbally, she had agreed to stop posting during our negotiations and accepted them without hesitation.
Needless to say, she has made it clear it is not in her interest to cooperate in resolving this matter at all as she continues to post compulsively. We cannot negotiate in this manner. We have principles and our integrity is being compromised.
We host thousands of satisfied guests every week and we measure the caliber of our quality through several mediums in an attempt to improve on a daily basis. In fact, the company employs and trains thousands of individuals that work hard day and night to satisfy each and every guest and her bogus accusations without support are unacceptable. We have received many certifications that prove her accusations are completely untruthful.
Therefore, as we had said before, we will not continue entertaining libel online and Ms. Christopher has our contact information if she would like to cooperate in the way we had offered to resolve this matter. We will no longer continue any communications with her if we are not contacted through the proper channels.
Hopefully one day, she will understand that our intentions are honest and she will let us complete our negotiations.
