Okay, me and my wife needed money fast to pay some stuff off but not a lot of money and we would pay it back in two days anyway. They approved my wife for $600.00 and then a $90.00 fee for the loan so total $690.00 to loan $600.00 so whatever we needed it. (Note: Money was in are account the next day.) So Money Mutual pulled $90.00 from are Account which was the Fee only. So me and my wife said why did they not pull the $690.00? So she called and got a voice mail to leave a message and they will call back ASAP. So they called back the next day and my wife asked them how come you did not pull the full amount? They said you need to call them to do that or they will keep pulling the fee only. My wife said okay and then she lose the women on the phone. This is where the scam comes in. In short, you call them it will be a voice mail they will get back to you then they contact at dumb time in the day like 11:30am when you are at work and days later. They do this so you can't call to say you want to pay it off and they keep charging you the fee of $180.00 a week like you don't have the money to pay back! We now paid $1,400.00 of a $600.00 loan because they don't pick up the phone and call back in reasonable amount of time! So we then when to the bank and put a stop on them from pulling anymore. They add new changes to. now it is $30.00 then $180.00. I don't even know what the $30.00 is for. But now they call me two days after I did that. Funny the money stop's and they call? So the scam is you can't contact them so they just charge you to the poor house in fee's! I am going to BBB then lawyer!

    Update! Called the women back and she is calling me about the stop payment. lol I told her you call me for that, but don't get back to me for days when I want to pay if off in full? She said some lies, then the real story comes out she is not the original department that I was trying to call, she is the collections department. That is funny they have there own collections department and of cause she has no records of me calling and just of them calling me. "No one left a note you called"  LOL like they would leave a note that I called. what a joke. So she said I only paid $540.00 no where over the $690.00. Yes, that is why I have my bank paperwork to show I paid over it. Also the $30.00 fee was for there payment getting stopped. So more [***] they put in the mix. So she asks me so you dispute what the amount where asking you for? I told here yes!  So she goes okay, then  I will forward your dispute to law firm so and so. I said go head do what you have to do then. She is trying to scare people to pay more money by using the Law firm to do there business for them.   She said I was two payments behind which means they have not gotten paid in 2 weeks so how is that in collections? You need to be behind in a bill for 30days to go to Collections so they are just [***] me to pay more money. She did not ask ones if I would like to pay today the full amount that they said I need to pay. Why?    She is stinging me along to pay a other $180.00 fee and $30.00 fee. I have been passed though 3 departments now and got nothing done but them trying to pull money out of my account every week!    The money train has stopped so now they call and deal with me.

        Oh yes...call right away James...they will straighten it all out. What a load of B.S. If you haven't noticed this whole Money Mutual company is a scam designed to take advantage of people who are in financially desperate situations. Just look at the evidence...type "Money Mutual" into your web browser and read far more horror stories than recommendations and accolades for these offshore and/or injun based lending companies. Stick with local companies, check them out with the BBB and attorney general in your state. If you are so cash strapped that you are considering dealing with snake oil salespeople for $300 you MAY wish to go as far as considering claiming bankruptcy. I am not saying that is what you should do since there are other options that will not rape and pillage your bank account. All of these companies that have caring and sincere spokesmen like Montel Williams or Fred Thompson tugging at your heartstrings...don't believe a word of it. It takes VERY LITTLE research to uncover the fact it's all B.S.

        Don't call them James, they probably will charge you for calling.   MM and Montel should be very ashamed of themselves.  They have no ethics at all!

        I had contemplated using your services as I had a bill that I needed to pay. However after reading James's account of how he was treated and taxed by your establishment I have changed my mind. Im so glad that I did not make that application.

          After reading im amazed that this company has so.many shianingans. I juat needed to fix my.car and needed a couple hundred.. Screw it. I guess this undue madness really isnt worth the phone tag hustle.

        Dear James, I was searching for a quick pay day loan to pay a bill. However after reading your account of what happened with money mutual I have changed my mind and decided to take a different course of action. Thank you for sharing. I had no iea that they did business in that way. I would have been livid.

          I feel the same way. I have decided not to use them either! Remember the ol saying, "If it sounds to good to be true", we all kno the rest! If we're already going thru a financial situation, who needs the xtra headache! Guess I betta say my prayers & figure somethin else out! THNX GUYS!

        I had wished I read your review before I applied for a loan with money mutual. thank God I have not been approved yet and I'm trying to cancel out my application but the annoying phone calls have already started I'm being called every 10 minutes from other loan companies that get payday loans and even companies that want to help me pay off my interest payments on a loan I haven't even received if anyone can tell me how to stop these annoying phone calls please send me an email my email address is rickbiddle19@gmail.com thank you very much. try and find a friend or relative pay them 20 percent interest and see if they will loan you the money. best way I can think of. good luck to all of those who are in a bad way.

      My mother has been dealing with the same craziness! Off a 400 dollar loan she was supposed to pay back 120 and now they are charging her tons more. They get you to believe you are paying a certain amount back but that is just the "service fees" plz update me on what happened in ur situation James.

        This is robbery without a gun. Im so sorry that your mom had to endure such madness. I hope that she will get this matter resloved soon. I hope she closed her account to stop them from charging her all that money.

        Doesn't sound like a good idea to borrow money from MM.  I am so glad people posted what they did as I was about to make the same mistake.  You should be ashamed of yourself MONTEL!!  People are in need of money, trying to rebuild credit and all you do is make matters worse????  Why??  Some people are just plain horrible and mean!!

        Wow.I came so close to getting a loan through MM .but I said to my self .let me see what others are saying about it OMG.what a nite. Mare .also after doing some research .I found that Obama endorses MM.and he also has his hand in the cookie jar.I was not surprised.
