My Whirlpool Refrigerator has been not been fully working since 9-8-2015. I called into AHS to report top of refrigerator was not cooling. I gave make & model of refrigerator that there was issue with. A Affordable Appliance was sent out & could NOT work on Whirlpool(as per the serviceman sent out to fix) as they are NOT Whirlpool certified and told me it was a recall by Whirlpool and I would have to contact them. Imagine that! I contacted Whirlpool & was told there was NO recall on my refrigerator or its parts. I recalled AHS to get reputable company that was Whirlpool certified sent out to fix my refrigerator.
GKB services was sent out on 9-18-2015 by AHS. We were told it was the main pcb(main computer) & parts were ordered. Many phone calls were made to GKB Services & AHS just to get update on when refrigerator would be fixed. Finally serviceman came out to install parts & the fan motor on back of refrigerator was NOT working. So more parts were ordered, The wrong fan motor parts were ordered twice. At this point my refrigerator issue was sent to AHS research department. Finally a serviceman came out & replaced more parts, within 2 weeks it was obvious that refrigerator was NOT fixed, therefore I called GKB Services again! Serviceman was sent out again 12-15-2015 & we have not heard from GKB Services since. Serviceman(Frank) told my husband he was going to talk to owner of GKB Services about our issue. I have called & left numerous messages with NO return call as of today.
To date my refrigerator is still NOT fixed! Communication and Customer Service is a BIG issue here, I have made most of the contact made with AHS & GKB Services, with little or NO return from either company!
I was told by AHS representative after calling them on 1-5-2016 that my husband or myself would receive a call on 1-6-2016 from AHS in regards to this issue, to date we have received NO PHONE CALL! My husband & myself have missed many days or half days at work to accommodate the attempted repairs.
Today 1-10-2016 I again made another call to AHS for update on status of having refrigerator fixed & again was told it would be sent to research & someone would call myself or my husband tomorrow with update. As I was told by AHS representative, GKB Services has NOT returned AHS calls either in regards to this issue.
I feel we have been very patient in this matter & feel that the appliance should just be replaced. We would just like for it to be resolved! We went through Thanksgiving & Christmas holidays with a half working refrigerator.
