In Oct of 2011 I was contacted by someone saying they were from Public Yellow Pages wanting to know If I wanted internet advertising in their internet yellow pages.  I told him no we do not advertise we have local businesses we sale to and that is all we can handle.  This man called me 4 times that same afternoon very adamant about me answering his questions on the forth call I was very upset and he told me if I would answer some survey questions he would leave me alone.  The questions were very general in nature but needed a yes or no answer.  One month after this call someone else called and said we owed $599 and wanted to know how we would pay it.  I told them I did not authorize it and they played a tape back of my own voice with the survey answers but with different questions.

today a man calls and says he is their lawyer and says we will have to pay $726 or they would send a warrant for my arrest and I would have to meet court in New York.  I finally just tell him to do whatever he has to do because I personally do not have $726 and my company will not pay it.  He then says he is the prelegal department (which is not what he said to begin with)  so I called him a lie and hung up.

If anyone knows of any way we can all bind together and prosecute these people please let us know.

    We have suffered the same pressure and tactics, We simply ignore them and pay no attention to their request for payment. I would love to see them in court. I filed complaints with the Post master general and FTC. So my advice is tell them you read all about their scam on the internet and if they want any money to kiss your a___.

    We have been harassed by this company for about 2 weeks now. Report this to the FTC, BBB and the Attorney General's office where you live. Do not pay this bill, it's a scam. They have continued to bother us, a man by the name of Jake Green is who has been doing the calls to our store. They doctor the tape. It is a 100% scam. They have caused my blood pressure to rise each and everytime they call. I have been called names, threatened with court.... Please read the following article and do the steps suggested, but whatever you do, do not give them your banking info.

    You are not alone in this scam, google it, you will be shocked to see how many people they are trying to scam..

    i have been threatend by fake jake green at my business. i also contacted atty gen, ftc, bbb. he is a fake and a fraud. do not give in to his scam! i call his scam line every day. send faxes of on line complaints about him and his scam. i am driving him nuts with my calls and faxes. i will not stop until he is caught and sent to prison where he belongs. he is a bottom feeder. hope his prison sentence will be soap bar pick up boy at shower time
