This company is a Payday Loan establishment in Jacksonville, FL. We were clients and paid religiously and on time for over a year.  Finally, my husband lost his income and we called to tell them we couldn't pay the loan in full and arranged to make payments to them.  We made a $200 payment (on an $1100 balance) on June 3.  On June 23, I was contacted by their collection agency, United Processing, impersonating the state attorney's processing office, demading $1260 by 1:00 that day or felony charges would be filed.  This violates the fair debt collection laws.

    This appears to be a popular tactic among several debt collectors in the Jacksonville FL area.  The Florida Attorney General has shut down some of them.

    I HAVE ALSO BEEN RECIEVING HARRASING PHONE CALLS FROM THESE PEOPLE WITH THICK INIDAN ACCENTS WHO ARE CLAIMING TO BE LAW OFFICERS.THEY HAVE THREATENED TO TAKE ME TO JAIL, GARNISH MY WAGES, REVOKE MY DL, GET ME FIRED FROM MY JOB AND ALSO I SHOULD FIND SOMEONE TO TAKE CARE OF MY CHILDREN BECAUSE I WILL BE IN JAIL FOR THE NEXT 7 TO 8 YEARS. HAVE BEEN RECEIVING THESE CALLS FOR ABOUT 5 MONTHS. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION WHATS SO EVER!!!!

    i have been recieving harassing phone calls, also to my supervisor, relatives, and friends.these people gave their names as hartland and reese' they threatened to serve me warrant at my job for writing bad checks, and taking me to jail.as usual i paid these people faithfully, and at one time i couldnt pay the whole sum of money. i offered to pay some biweekly. they refused, and demanded the whole amount.since then its been hell.

    I had a payday loan and not able to pay it back entirely but now my EX husband is getting the calls and the guy is telling my EX everything! From me going to jail, me being served at home/work and that I have two worthless checks! I do not have two worthless checks. Does anyone know what can be done to stop him from calling and discussing my business freely with anyone?? thanks
