Horrible customer service and Maytag products are faulty

Made an appointment to get my recalled Maytag washer (dont recommend this brand AT ALL) with Maytags nominated service representative GGSL in Norwalk.  They did not even call or show up.  I called them and Maytag called them to figure out if they were coming or not.  Mind you I had to take time off of my work to be there in the 4 hour window so when we were stood up, we were upset.  They still are not returning or taking calls.  In this economic climate, who is able to 1. Create products that can cause serious fire hazards and 2. not provide reliable customer service to correct this wrong?  Extremely disappointed.

    Amana scheduled a repair of my Microwave with GGSL. I called the day before to confirm and no one returned my call. I also called the morning of the repair and once again no return call. No one showed up after I stayed home 5 hours(their window for service)to wait for them.

    I just had GGSL Appliance repair come and fix my Whirlpool washer.  There service was very good they had the part for the washer so I didn't have to wait. I would recommend them.  There technician Was great fixed it fast and was very polite. Thanks. Xoxoxox

    Very Disgusted
    The technician from GGSL was very misleading regarding the charges for his work. I was told $70 would charged if he was not allowed to repair my stove. It would be waived if the work was done.  We agreed and ended up with a $254 bill. $70 of that was for trip to the warehouse to pick up the FUSE needed to fix my stove. (There went my $70 saving) We also paid $180. for labor which took all of five minutes. My husband has left at least 4 messages trying to speak to someone regarding the charges without a call back! How is this fair?

    Horrible Experience
    We recently had service on a Whirlpool dryer.  At least GGSL is consistently BAD!  Two calls into them prior to service window, no callback and showed up.  After it was determined a part was required with our extended service provider, I placed 3 calls into GGSL, no answer / only voicemail.  Never received a callback and the 4th attempt mailbox full.  Terrible customer service.

    Yesterday our Amana refrigerator was repaired by GGSL.  The technician was well prepared, methodical, and careful and the repair was done quickly.  He arrived about half an hour after the scheduled time but he had called earlier to warn us.  I'd certainly recommend them.

    The Worst Experience: Unprofessional!
    Home Depot made an appointment to get my Maytag dryer fixed. I was told the I would be called the night before to give me a time frame. They did not even call or show up.  I called them and called them to figure out if they were coming or not. I took off from work to be there and was stood up. In the late afternoon I made phone calls to Home Depot to complain about the lack of response, and then a guy from GGSL called to say he was on his way. At 4:30 he arrivied, no name tag or Order form or introduction, walked in, listened to the Thump-Thump-Thump my brand new dryer was making, and said that, "with time the noise will be reduced by 30%". What? The dyrer in not supposed to be clunking?  Extremely disappointed. He made no effort to address the problem and then simply left. No paper work. Not even a screw driver. Unbelievable.

    GGLS came to fix my washer he do his work clean and good he looks cleans I like thanks for ggls
