I received a telemarketing call from Eterran, Inc (702-506-0893), a Las Vegas based company.

The sales rep claimed that Eterran has "software" that puts my business in Google's mobile map listing search area.  I asked specifically if it was the Adwords interface they were using and he denied it.  Then I asked if it was organic maps placement and he could not provide a clear answer.  The ONLY way to appear in the maps is via Google's Adwords System or an organic ranking.  The "software" that that he implied came from an exclusive license from Google does not exist.

Of course I refused to buy because the deception was obvious to someone who knows how to ask the right questions.  Those of you reading this now know what questions to ask as well.  There are many many SEM/SEO scams floating out there - this is one of them.  Buyer beware!

If people understood placement they would know it's something you can yourself or hire someone to do it for you.Ad words is a pay-per-click. Google maps you can pay for it or get it by registering yourself with Google. Thanks to eterran.com and their friendly staff. They put me on the MAP of Google, Yahoo and Bing but I'm now leading my competition. Thanks Eterran,Inc. for doing something I simply didn't have time to do myself. I would recommend this company because they get results.

These guys promised me 5 top positions on Google for my plumbing business.  It's been months now and my business is no where near the first page of results.  They said they had some unique formula and relationship with Google.  Whatever it is, it's not working for me.  This is the 3rd time I've been ripped off by a Google placement telemarketing scam.  Now, I'm spending my time disputing charges with my credit card company.

Google Map Scammers just change names
They are likely up and running under a new company name.  That's what these companies do.

This is the guy running the E-Terran scam. The positive reviews by Kevin and Katy are written by him. He has a LONG history as a scammer.

I was the victim of the same E-Terran, Inc mobile Google scam.    Took my money through Paypal, then did not follow-thru and provided me nothing in return.     Of course, phone numbers have been disconnected for a while, and the website is down, etc.   Please post here any information that may be helpful in tracking this crook down.  Thanks.
