    My Mobile no is 9005850148. Without my permission or intimation, 555630 daily news service has been activated on my cell phone.
    Everyday some amount of money is deducted from my balance for a service I do not require or asked for.

    Please deactivate this or I shall consider changing my service provider.

    My number is 9936489566.  I got an sms that I am subscribed to Airtel Picture Post News service 555630 and I am being billed at Rs 1/day.  

    On calling customer service at 121 (a chargeable call), I was told that the service is active for the last three weeks (since 26/8/11 at 13:02).  customer service rep anubha told me that I must have dialled some *30xxx#yy number and activated the service.  From 24 to 31 august I was abroad and my mobile was switched off.

    After 10 minutes talking to her and then a supervisor who said she didn't have the authority to refund my money, I finally reached senior supervisor Mr Mahindra.  I told him that I needed a refund of the billing on this service.  He agreed, and then immediately the call was cut.

    I called again and it got cut.  On the third call, I reached senior supervisor Mr. Amit Kumar.  He said that I must have gone to a website (he said something like mopshare.com) and activated the service.  I have never gone to that website.

    When I said that I needed this refund, what Mr. Kumar said then was that their system was being updated, and hence my query regarding refund could not be addressed.  This seemed suspicious to me, since back-end systems for such large purposes are rarely down for updating.  In any event, he said I should call back after an hour.  

    In these calls I wasted some 20 minutes, and was billed Rs. 3.50.

    I suggest that users who wish to refund post on this page and we make a mass consumer lawsuit.   The point is to make it expensive to do such things in the future so that services in the nation improve on the long run.
