Steph (the person right below) has the same story as I do. I switched to paperless and was allegely 2 months late on my credit card payment. They called me and said I was late and I paid all the bills right away. VS ruined my credit score... I cannot even find a decent place to rent in San Francisco... I am so upset and I do not know what to do. I am guessing I should get an attorney... Does anyone have any suggestions....

    You should definitely run this by an attorney, as there is starting to appear a pattern suggesting they may be negligently or intentionally misbilling.

    If their "error" is systematic, the number of violations and the consumer losses may be substantial, which might interest a class action attorney.

    This same thing happened to me... I am extremely upset!!!! They said I signed up for paper statements. They also refuse to give me the account number. So now in order to even look at what the charges are for I have to wait until next months statement. I will be paying this off and closing my account immediately!!! Did you ever get your's resolved?

    I opened up a card about a month ago online and a few days after I made a purchase then a payment right after. They then sent me a bill stating I didn't make my payment for the month so I contacted them. The customer service woman was completely rude to me and kept telling me I didn't understand the billing. Eventually they counted my payment as that months payment but not after the woman had me to the brink of tears because I was so mad. She even went so far to tell me that she paid all hers off immediately because she has three jobs. My payment was even larger than the minimum.

    I just looked at my account online tonight (it's not even time for my second payment) and come to find out that on the day my first payment was due (which I made, as I stated above) I had a late fee on my account. I am completely irate. I will be calling the company as soon as they open up in the morning. I've had enough and I will be paying off my card ASAP and getting rid of it.

    If anyone is considering getting the credit card, DON'T! I'm 19 and they will end up ruining my credit, worst mistake of my life.

    Summer of 2012 I get a paperless bill saying I  am late paying, but I never received a bill! I've since bought a new home and found that my credit score had dramatically dropped. I've since talked to a friend who had the same thing happen to her. Any one know of law suits against the company for this unjust billing???? Will never use this card again!

    Same problem here. I wasn't getting bills in the mail for 2/3 months and then they're charging me late fees on top of these late fees that I was unaware of. Then interest on the late fees that I'm unaware of having until they harrass me via phone while I'm in class! The few bills I have actually received have been mangled and I have pictures of them. They won't even send me an account summary to prove to me that I owe this money considering I never received the majority of my bills. HORRIBLE COMPANY. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. NEVER BUYING ANYTHING HERE AGAIN. This has cost me over $600 when my original purchase was around $80 with a card limit of $100. Never wanted a higher limt or to ever use the card after the initial purchase. Their fees on the bills I didn't receive caused me to go over the limit, which they claimed was another fee! This company has ruined me over an original $80 purchase. OH and when I tried to pay off the card balance in the store 6 months ago! I gave the information to the cashier, she pulled it up told me the amount and I made the payment. Confirmed everything with her before I left. Concluded that was that, went home, and cut the card up to be done with them. Turns out the balance she told me wasn't even the right balance because they can't even see that in store! I was charged a late fee AGAIN! WHICH I FOUND OUT ABOUT 2 MONTHS LATER AND AM STILL PAYING BECAUSE THEY CHARGED ANOTHER LATE FEE ON THAT LATE FEE AND SO ON! The last bill I've gotten was two months ago and said I owed $28. I paid that bill and thought I could finally move on. Just got a phone call from their collectors today saying I magically owe $85 that I never received any bills for. They're still ruining my credit. Is this even real life? How are the practices they use even legal?! RIDICULOUS AND SHADY BUSINESS HERE. Please do yourself a favor if you read this and never get a card from them.

    Beware of COMMENITY BANK
    I called before Christmas and s/w someone at Commenity and told her I'd like to pay off my acct. She asked my name, address, etc. and said ok you owe $168.25? And I said ok, I'm going to pay it off.....DONE! OH, NO.....Still getting calls saying that I owe hundreds more dollars.....??  BEWARE

    the exact same thing happened to me over $8! ruined my credit - and i'm fighting it now but it's such a process and it's very unclear. did anyone resolve their issues?
