Got a message from this number stating that I have a civil suit against me, and that I was to call back right away. Ummm... no... not this sucker...

It's a shakedown scam..
They show up with complaints that they're attempting to extort money for fake "magazine subscription contracts", supposedly for over $1000. https://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-330-931-4015/7 This is typical of these "magazine" scams, making up some large amount that they will "settle" for something in the $300 to $400 range. Shakedowns appear to be designed to extort amounts in the range people can scrape together quickly, since they must be "closed" before the sucker has a chance to talk to anyone who might tip them off to the scam.

Note the similarity of the complaints. Apparently you can be a BBB member, and still do whatever you want, as long as you "resolve" any complaints received by BBB.
There was a Miller Marketing back in Buffalo, known for the same tactics.
