Mobile number Porting into Airtel

I have placed request to airtel to port me from Vodafone Post Paid service to Airtel. They gave me a post paid SIM card while submitting documents.

But after some days they informed me that sim card given to me has issues and sent me a new pre paid sim card. When i complained about this they said they will fix this on priority. Till date they have not fixed it.

Airtel team is not responding to my quires properly. Even talking to nodal officer is also not helping. Please let me know what can be done with this kind of issue.

    Rakesh,

    I got call from your MNP Team representative Ravi and he started giving offers to me. He started saying that he will provide me a new post paid number, when i had said that i am not interested he offered me a fancy number. I have declined his offer and requested him to fix the problem.

    Today i have talked to your nodal officer and Appellate Officer agian on this topic. To my surprise they say that i have applied for pre paid and when i ask for proof they dont want to share any proof.

    All so all these days your nodal officers team did not register complaint saying that they can not create a compliant request. After reading TRAI web site and insisting for a complaint they have registered one today. I lost 15 days in this process.

    For me this is not acceptable as Airtel Customer. So your nodal officers not ready to have accountability. I will try my best not to rest my case till cause of problem is known.

    Will keep you posted and also i am going to help other customers form Airtel who are suffering.
