No statement received and have to pay interest charges

I opened a card with SBI Card last fall. In March and April of this year I did not receive my statements. I got concerned and called their support department. An officer told me that they have been mailed and should be in my mail box shortly. I waited a little more and finally got a statement for April the first week of May.

The statement has no-payment interest fees for the two months (February and March). I called SBI Card and complained about this issue. I told them that I called before but was told that the statements are on their way to my house. I guess either they were lying to me, or the statements were lost in the mail. Two of them, which seems to me less likely.

I asked the lady from their support department why I didn't receive the statements via email (I subscribed to this service upon opening the account), and she could not give me an answer.

I wrote to their corporate office describing my issue. Will see if they respond.
