Purchased Model 0915 from Target. Never worked from get go. No suction.
Many complaints and e-mails. This unit should be replaced by Royal. Made in China. I am sick and tired of complaining. Please replace this unit for me. It does not work. I will complain on the internet to Target if that will help. I paid $39.95 orinally for this hand held vac. Please help.

The Complaint:
I love the Dirt Devil. However, the damned belts keep braking. I now live in Colorado Springs, CO. Six months ago the belt for the brush broke. I took the entire Dirt Devil down since I'm an elderly woman, and Home Depot kindly replaced the belt (which I paid for). Now, six months later, the belt brakes AGAIN. The men at Home Depot said that was the only problem with the Dirt Devil, and they put in another belt for me. I brought it home. Within 10 minutes of vacuuming, the NEW belt broke. I had bought two belts this time, so I simply put the new belt in myself because I saw how the Home Depot guy put it in. It is working for the moment. BUT I have no idea how much longer it will work!!! Living on Social Security is difficult enough without buying all these belts!!! The number of the two belts I bought today are No. 32140, Dirt Devil Uprights, Style 4/5. I would assume that the Dirt Devil Company will replace these three belts without charge!! Maybe they were just outdated???
