They just called 20 min ago. I did fill out a breif survey to get info on a cash or payday loan. And started getting weird emails. Some were british lottos dome were people asking if I would pretend to be an inhertor of an estate. ETC.... all sorts but today was cash advance and law firm telling me thet were filing charges of fraud bad check. Freaked me out for a minutte but as soon as iput thename into google I found this site and many others about these calls. Wish id seen them ahead. But BEWARE CASH ADVANCE ARE THE FRAUDS

They just call people, hoping they find some sucker who confuses their BS with a past payday loan. They also run fake "payday loan application" websites to grab consumer identity information, like SSN or bank account name and number, to weave into their fraudulent script.
Callers are usually from overseas, often India or Pakistan.
Report to the FBI, and ignore their threats.
They are a bunch of criminals, lying and faking.
