Poor customer service and quality

I bought a Sony music system MHC GNZ88DE last year. 9 months later the DVD stopped working.
The product was still under a warranty so I contacted Sony customer service the very same day. They got back to me about my support request only a week later. They claim that they respond to their clients within 48 hours. In my case it took them 168 hours.
The service I got from the support center was pathetic. I had to return to the center 3 times because the same problem re-appeared as soon as I took the music system home.
They refused to replace the system with a new one after I asked them. I don't have time to service this product every two weeks, and I just want to enjoy my purchase.
I will think twice before I buy another Sony product.
