Typical "health product" charge cramming scam, built on a "trial offer" automatically converted to repeated automatic charges if you don't cancel, but they will make sure there is no way that you can cancel.  You saw this by all the barriers they created to cancelling, none of which were disclosed up front, and that despite following their instructions, they still kept taking your money.

They got your account number and will keep charging you until you close the account due to fraud to block their charges.

You can find many similar fraud complaints on this site under "health and beauty".  Some scammers run many under different names, to hide the extent of their fraud empires.

VISA recently cut off over a hundred "acai" and similar scams from access to their payment system due to numerous similar complaints.

Dispute their fraudulent charges through your bsnk, and have them close your account due to fraud to prevent additional crammed fraudulent charges.  Insist on filing a fraud affidavit with your bank (and keep a copy yourself with documentation on when you delivered or mailed it to your bank), since to most effectively dispute fraudulent charges under FRB Reg. E, you must dispute within 60 days of the statement date of the statement showing the disputed charges, and you want proof to back this up.

Your bank can reverse fraudulent charges when you dispute timely.

If you run into problems getting your bank to accept your fraud dispute, mail it certified, keeping a copy of the letter and certified receipt as proof of mailing date.  Under FRB Reg. E, mailing date counts as initial date of dispute, even if your bank loses, ignores, or never gets your dispute.  If your bank will not reverse fraudulent charges, get an account at a different bank and file a complaint against your bank with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, at www.occ.gov

File a fraud and theft complaint with your local police.  In addition, file fraud complaints with FTC, and your state Attorney General.

In the future, do not deal with ripoff businesses selling phony health products.  One indication of fraud or deceipt indicates other fraudulent activity is likely.  These days, there may be few "health product" trial offers that are not cramming scams, and you should beware of whatever they send you to put in your body as well.

This type of scam sometimes attempts to create glowing "review" sites, as part of their promotion tactics.  Note the attempts to post positive replies trying to offset the complaints of fraud.

Post their phone number to see if other complaints can be found connected to this particular operation.

Note:  Since you lost your card, you would be blocking and closing your account anyway, but with this type of scam, you MUST close your account due to fraud to stop their cramming from continuing.  This type of scam routinely crams repeated charges until it is made no longer possible.  It is not possible to just block their charges, since they may also start cramming charges under other names, or just wait a few months and try again.

Watch your new account especially carefully for the next few months, in case your bank rolls over fraudulent charges to the old account onto your new account.

This often happens since they generally set up their fraudulent charging as "automatic and repeating", not requiring separate authorization for each charge.  They are taking advantage of the weaker security applied to EFT charges used for automatic payments to utilities.

This definitely gave me something to think about while considering this product. I'm sorry to hear about all your troubles, but please revisit elementary grammar and spelling before submitting another post, this one was very difficult to follow.

Wow Wonderland, use your grammar skills in school, not on public postings. I hope you are a teacher.

A very similar experience.  After I sent the crap back, a charge of about $80 appeared on my credit card from these nice people.  I contacted them, and unbelievably I recived good customer service help, and the credit card was credited with the amount.

Prior to calling the outfit, I checked with the credit card company, and the agent told me that they might bill my card again.  So I canceled the card and got a new account.

    Never again!!!!!!!

Why the hell would you let someone charge your account like that in the first place. That's your own fault trying to use there product for free. I know how people think.

Man, I don't know what you people are complaining about. I have never been so cleaned out! It's a good thing that I remodeled my bathroom because I have been spending so much time in there cleansing toxins from my [***]. While I am writing my new best seller while sitting on the toilet, the sequel to Iceman, called The Iceman Melteth, I am multi-tasking and it is a wonderful feeling. Colon Flow is much more refreshing than the vodka enemas I was trying and I have sobered up in the meantime! Colon Flow can bill my credit card, actually it's my ex-girlfriends, anytime they wish.

Yes, I too have the same problem as you all.  I ordered Colon Flow for the 9.99 30 day free tiral and was charged 21.79 instead of 9.99. ( this happened in July 2010). I called the company and heard all kinds of excuses.  I told them I was not happy with the product and told them I was sending the two bottles and unused portion back Priority mail.  I also told them that they were not authorized to charge anything to my card again ( this was the first of August)- no transactions on my card in August and then on Sept. 21, there is a charge for 87.90 on my card.   I called to dispute the charge with my credit card company and now this has to be investigated.
Buyer beware! I have had to cancel my credit card of 7 years and have to contact businesses.

i knew about the charges they would put on you and send you their garbage after the "free trial" so within the 30 days i sent the sh...... back. i thought it was over but 3 months later i noticed my bank statement was hit 2x on the 14th. for $13.99 not knowing what it was for i called the 800 # and it was some company saying i enrolled in a discount card from some herbal product i ordered 3 months ago, i said this is some kind of a mistake, i didnt sign anything and i do not habve any discount card or info. stating this, i got lucky and the sweet spoken girl said i would be re-embursed for $41. we'll see..... if i'll get it up the same place it came out of from using the crap

    1. Use a debit card and they will deduct the  amount takem
    2. Before you deal with these companys, make sure that you get the name , address before ordering.
    3. Lay a complaint to their  Attorney General.
If your Attorney General won't Act, place a "PROVATE COMMERCIAL BOND" against them by giving the facts to the Secretyary of State telling him that if he does not hold the bondd, to deliver it to the one that does, or he will be respomsible. Send it registered, and demand an answer within 30 days. Make your claim for one hundred thousand dollars

It's no secret that 90% of Americans are dumber than a bag of rocks. If you didn't fall out of your chair laughing at their commercial...little doubt what percentile you fall into. They claim a build up of 4 1/2 lbs. of excess fecal matter per day, and after three days...you've got 15 lbs. of excess fecal matter stored in your intestines. Really...how stupid can you people be? You better forget about stool softeners and get your azz to the emergency room quick. Anyone with even the hint of a brain should know that you can't accumulate more weight in stool than you actually ate in food. When is the last time one of you dummies ate 4 1/2 pounds of food in a day? Forget the question....most of you idiots don't even know how much a pound really is.

Colon Flow is a major rip-off. They take your credit card, tell you that your cost will be $11.80 with no future charges or shipments, then charge your card for $89.60 and refuse to refund anything. When calling their "Customer Care" (which is a joke) number, I waited twice for half an hour before getting through.

I too called the number on the TV and ordered the one time trial, one bottle of Colon Flow it was eleven dollars and eighty cents.  I was under so much pressure to buy more I got suspicious and googled Colon Flow fraud and I read many complaints against them so I closed out my band account and sure enough the next thing I know I was billed for eighty nine dollars and sixty cents.  I called Colon Flow and tried to reason with them they only said pay the amount and it resulted in Colon Flow turning me over to SKO-Brenner-American, Inc. A collection agency in New York.  I tried to reason with them and all they said I was to pay the eighty nine dollars and sixty cents.

I googled SKO-Brenner- American and found where they were involved in collection policies that had caused them a law suite in California.

I googled Arizona State Attorney General's Office and I called them and the next day I received the forms to fill out to file a complaint against SKO-Brenner-American.  In a few days I received a letter from the Attorney Generals office saying they were attempting to contact SKO-Brenner American in New York.
I just received a letter from the Attorney Generals office saying my case with SKO-Brenner- American was closed.  I owe them nothing,  Thanks to the lawyers in the Attorney Generals Office in Phoenix AZ.

This costs me nothing and I did not even have to go to court.  I figure I really got justice fast with very little effort
    on my part.

I don't know how your bank works. I had this problem with money being taken out of my checking account without my permission. My solution, went to my bank cancelled my visa card and was given a new one on the spot. The company will not be able to access any funds from my account.
