They call my job constantly after I tolf them I am not allowed to receive personal calls at work unless its an emergency. I just started working again have yet to set up any bank accounts etc and they are complaining that since I don't comply with their requirements that they are going to stop calling and refer my account to some attorney.  How about tryin to schedule a call back date and schedule a payment plan or something???  The worse part is this guy just hangs up on me without even tryint to hear me out.  Someone needs to put them in their place ASAP....

    It is a violation of FDCPA for a debt collector to call you at work when they have reason to believe you cannot take their calls there.

    You can sue for FDCPA violations, and courts can award actual damages plust up to $1000 statutory damages, as well as your attorney fees, if you win.

    Before you lose your job, get an attorney.  You might try www.naca.net
