I just had a problem with Direct Buy. I had to have my Nissan Pathfinder taken in for a check engine light. The Nissan Service Tech. found faults with the transmission and timing belt. Direct Buy sent a inspector to look over the results. Direct Buy has rejected my claim stating that the issues were pre existent caused from time / miles. My understanding is that this terminology is a excuse for a way out of covering the claim. My phone calls to the claims department for further information on how to further my dispute my contract with Direct Buy was responded with a address to mail a complaint. My vehicle is sitting at the service department and recommended to not operate as the warranty company could claim further damage was caused. I recommend any person looking for a auto warranty should pass on using Direct Buy.
