I wish I would have read these posts before attending a Blue Green sales schpeel.  I feel so ripped off.  My husband and I had a great time share experience with an Interval Resort in Puerto Vallarta.  We exchanged our weeks easily and when our daughter moved to Maui, we were able to trade for weeks in Kihei while we visited her.  When the Mexican lease expired last year, we were in the market for another timeshare and 'got sold' into the points at BlueGreen.  After explaining our desire to use the points for visiting our daughter in Maui, we were assured no problem.  We bought 8000 points for $11,000.00 , are paying almost $800 per year in dues and when I was ready to book our trip to Maui - it was going to be 26,000 points for the week.  I was horrified and felt so betrayed.  I can't seem to 'get over it' and am not sure what I can do

Just like you, there are many of us dealing with an unwanted timeshare. I'm stuck with a mayan palace timeshare and i swear i would give it away just for a few bucks. I recommend you to read this article on how to rescind a timeshare contract legally, hope this helps:
