Last week I started getting calls from this number, but no one left a message. The first time it happened I figured they realized they had the wrong number when they heard the message with my name, but then they called again and didn't leave a message. On Wednesday, after they called me for the third time I called them back and got a message machine. The company is called Real Vacation and are located in Concord CA. I left them a message asking them to stop calling me, but today I got another call. I'm really upset that they think it's okay for them to call again when I specifically asked them not to! So, I called them back and got a dude named Dave on the phone. He promptly started his scam telling me I can get a complimentary vacation if I just sit in some presentation for a couple of hours! Are you kidding me? STOP CALLING ME!!!

Complaints against that number started in March.

It is common for telemarketers that evade compliance with the Do Not Call law to also be engaged in fraudulent telemarketing for some scam, so violation of one law is a warning to beware of violations of others.

File Do Not Call complaints with FTC.

I can't believe it, but even after asking not to be called again, they called again. Can't I file a police report for harassment?

I have been getting these calls as well. I did answer once and was told it was a vacation related business that wanted me to go to a sales pitch presentation and in return get a paid vacation somewhere. I asked them to take me off the list. That did not work out as I'm still getting calls. Luckily, Verizon Wireless allows me to block up to 5 calls free of charge. That takes care of that. BTW, they got me at an Art & Wine Festival. A row of monitors where they talk you into entering a contest. I asked if it was a timeshare and they lied, said it was not. Same thing as a timeshare.

I used to work there May 2009. When you called back and l/m, they didn't listen to it. They don't listen to the messages generally. You need to answer their call and tell them right away you want to be off the list. They put you in a do not call list. It's simple. The only way for them to ever call you again is if you sign up at some kind of raffle in an event or so. That is how they get their leads.
They don't harrase people. Overall, my co-workers were very nice and fun. We know how aggrivating it is to get telemarket calls but we need money too. We have no problem taking off the list.   :)

I stopped working there after 3 weeks, found a better job.

We received the same targeted mailer directing us to call to claim free RT airline tickets and a free week-long rental car, in the same manner as others who have posted here.  We called the noted number and reached a "marketing" enterprise in Arizona, "Perfekt Marketing," which pitched us to attend a 90-minute seminar at this travel office.  The opener (Sierra) and the closer (Kay) mentioned several restrictions associated with the plane tickets, and none with the rental car, outside of attending the seminar.

We attended the seminar, where we were given a hard-sell by a team of representatives to buy into a travel program which would turn us into travel agents and make us eligible for reduced-cost travel packages.  We politely endured the presentations and, near the end of the 90 minutes, requested the round-trip tickets and rental car.  The representative then sitting with us reluctantly provided us with two highly-restrictive vouchers, and asked us to sign a waiver which, among other things, disavowed any reliance by us on the representations used by the "marketing" company to get us to participate.  When I explained to the representative that the only reason we attended was to claim the plane tickets and rental car as described to us by the telemarketers, the representative was miffed.  He saw nothing wrong with the travel agency attempting to get around the promises made to us on the phone.  We refused to sign the waiver and left.

I read through the voucher certificates given to us.  There were MANY restrictions on claiming both the plane tickets and the rental car which the telemarketers had not told us about, which effectively made the certificates useless to us.  I researched the issuer of the rental car certificate, VIP Travel in Florida.  Apparently, it has a history of refusing to redeem the certificates if all of the previously-undisclosed requirements, right down to the need to conduct correspondence by certified mail within a very short turnaround time, are not scrupulously followed.  Separate "deposits" for each of the plane tickets and the rental car were also required.  You can see where this is going....

I called the telemarketers again.  Kay assured me, for example, that she had not been instructed to include a disclosure of the $75 advance deposit to claim the rental car in her pitch to us prior to the time of our initial call, and seemed geuninely apologetic about the additional, previously-undisclosed restrictions imposed by VIP Travel.  She seemed stunned when I told her that the travel office tried to get us to disavow the content of her previous sales call with us.  She said she would report these discrepancies to her manager.

The manager (Tom) called me two days later.  He tried to rationalize the various discrepancies and saw nothing wrong with the travel office's attempt to get us to disavow the representations made to us by his telemarketing firm.  The owner of the telemarketing firm was equally adamant that both his business and the travel office had not participated in a deception or otherwise done anything wrong.  One of the things he made sure to mention was that, because they were in Arizona, they could freely tape our calls without authorization from the remote party.  Is this the kind of operation you want to do business with?

To this moment, I cannot understand why ALL of the restrictions could not have been read to all of us unsuspectingly pitched -- except, of course, that, if they had, not many would participate in their promotion.

Times are tough enough without having to worry about businesses which talk a good game but do not deliver as promised.  Don't part with your hard-earned money or free time:  wherever you might live, stay away from Perfekt Marketing in Arizona, Pulaski/Hallmark Travel in California, and VIP Travel in Florida.

    DO NOT CALL ME
(925)429-5097 is assigned to Broadwing Communication which is a telemarketer calling for Real Vacation of Concord, CA who is selling a package for Pulaski Tickets and Tours.

They have your number because at a county fair or city function they gave you a "free cup" or something and in return you gave them your phone number. When they call and you are not at home they do not leave messages, they just persistently - relentlessly keep calling you.  When they do reach you and you tell them you are on a No Call Registry they tell you they have permission because you signed up at a fair or function.

They will tell you that you won a 3 day, 2 night trip to San Diego or Las Vegas for two. He said the only limitations on the travel were that we couldn't book within 7 days of a holiday and I had to go to their office for a presentation. He said they are just like Expedia and Travelocity, only they don't spend the money for advertising. Instead, they offer "free trips" to people. They require the visit to their office in order to show potential clients the savings they can receive by using them over their competition. He said they end up with a lot of repeat business from the people who take the "free trips". After agreeing to go to their presentation they email you a contract which you have to sign and must bring with you for your “free trip“. In small letter it says that anything over $100 for your “free trip” comes out of your pocket. So how is that free? Just the plane fair to Las Vegas may cost over $350 and you only get a certificate for $100 then you have to pay for your room. There are conditions, you have to put a deposit of $50 down and schedule your "free trip" 90 days in advance, you have to do other things too to get your “free trip".  They will also call you from another number (916) 676-1350.

Their tactics are absolutely MISLEADING and shouldn't be condoned by consumers.
