A&E Service took 5 visits and damages my new home

The A&E repairman puts 30+ inch long dent in my new, custom-made kitchen floor -- despite my request to use provided protection.  

Along with their "skids" I provided (and asked them to use) a pressboard panel which came with the refrigerator to protect the floor.  The repairman didn't use the protection provided and puts 30+ inch dents in my kitchen floor from rolling the refrigerator out to get to the back.  

They pass me off to Sedgwick Insurance – their insurance company for remedy.  I perform all the required tasks (to include photo and estimate submissions).  After repeated inquiries and a 3 month wait without remedy they won’t provide but a couple hundred dollars to fix a custom made floor that will cost me thousands of dollars to return to the condition it was in prior to their visit.  

Also, actual repair of the refrigerator also cost me several hundred dollars and it took them 5 visits to remedy the refrigerator issue.  The visits are only scheduled from 8a-5p so I had to wait at home 5 times!  Also, the repair parts through A&E cost more than twice what I could get them for online.  

For me, the experience of using A&E Service for a basic appliance repair will have cost:
•    About 8 thousand dollars ($8,000.00)
•    Multiple inconveniences
•    Five vacation days for the appliance repair alone
•    Lengthy living disruptions with repairman in the house
•    Significant house cleaning bills
•    Essentially a refusal to take responsibility for the damage done
•    HUGE disappointment and frustration

A&E Service has been one of the worst experiences of my entire life…

    SO FAR -- 25 days without being able to use my nearly new Maytag washer. Many of those 25 days were spent waiting for Maytag's so-called service, A&E.

    A&E has proven useless; the first repairman who came out basically unplugged the washer and plugged it back in and declared it repaired. It's been downhill from there. 3 repair visits, main parts replaced, the washer still doesn't work, and NO ONE knows when it may be fixed or replaced. A&E claims there have been only 2 visits for the particular problem, which is NOT true, further delaying resolution.

    NOBODY is responsible. Based on what I've been hearing, ensuring every customer is disrespected and dissatisfied is simply their policy.

    •    Lengthy household disruptions with repairman in the house
    •    Refusal to take responsibility for customer dissatisfaction

    NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY - I TOOK MULTIPLE DAYS OFF WORK FOR THEM TO COME AND REPAIR MY WASHER AND EACH TIME THEY CANCELLED STATING IT WAS A 2 MAN JOB AND THEY ONLY HAD 1 MAN AVAILABLE - THEY KNEW THIS EACH TIME THEY RE-SCHEDULED!  TO MAKE MATERS WORSE THEY NEVER EVEN CALLED TO CANCEL ONE OF THE APPOINTMENTS THEY JUST NEVER SHOWED UP!  THE OTHER APPT. THEY CALLED THAT DAY AT THE TIME THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO BE THERE AND SAID THEY WERE NOT COMING.  THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS VERY UNHELPFUL AND REFUSE TO GIVE YOU A NUMBER TO REACH ANYONE HIGHER UP - SAVE YOURSELF ALOT OF FRUSTRATION AND NEVER NEVER NEVER USE THIS COMPANY. I WISH I WOULD HAVE LOOKED INTO OTHER PEOPLE'S EXPERIENCE BEFORE I BOOKED WITH THEM.

    These are False I have had nothing but problem with A&E Repair Service.

    WRONG PARTS, DAMAGE TO PRODUCT THAT THEY WORK ON. DAMAGE TO FLOOR, LEAVING THE HOUSE WITH A MESS IN THE GARAGE FROM PACKING . LEAVING ME WITH THE WRONG PARTS, WHAT AM I GOING TO DO WITH THEM???????????????

    This is the WORST company! My story is very similar to the ones above. They schedule an appointment...then the DAY OF call and cancel and say "its a 2 man job and we don't have another tech" available. I've called MULTIPLE times, even spoke to a manager, and he stated "I will have technicians out there today after 2PM" and he'd call back to confirm that. Here is it 2PM and have not heard back from the manager. I've had another appointment scheduled from 8-12 and I get a call at 12:30..."I'm running late and won't be there till atleast 2PM". I'm TIRED OF ARRANGING MY SCHEDULE FOR THEM AND THEN THEY CALL AND CANCEL!! Horrible service...just horrible. Save yourself time...DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!!

    Please** DO NOT use A&E factory and tell everyone you know! Get the word out!!
    File complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the Consumer Protection agency in your state. Place flyers up in your community it is the only way to stop this type of pathetic service. These businesses' all need to be held accountable for pathetic service no matter how large they are!!
    I have many complaints and a long involved story regarding my washer, won't bore you with details; it is very similar to the stories already posted.
    The bottom line is they are too big to fail..... They told me they were the 2nd largest service company in the country.
    They are dishonest, incompetent, rude and the bottom line corrupt.
    I called 10-12 times to ask to speak with a manager/supervisor and they place you on hold until you have to hang-up after 20-30-40 minutes. That is how they deal with your complaints. They are terrible and should not be in business!! Let's all do our part to stop this kind of service.
    We all deserve better. Thanks!

    The A&R  never show up. I guess i was lucky. Now I can look for a real company to do the job.
