They don't have any information. They just call number after number, say, starting with 000-000-0000, then 000-000-0001 and keep going until they hit 999-999-9999. Somewhere between 000-000-0000 and 999-999-9999 is your number, mine, and everyone else's. They don't know who you are unless you tell them.
