Solution for Deactivation of VAS Charges in STC

Here`s a step by step guide how to attempt to get rid of those annoying regular charges by STC. Step 1: Send a blank SMS to the following two numbers: one to 800828 and one to 800444. If your phone does not allow you to send a blank SMS, enter a space character and send it. Step 2: Wait. You may have to wait a few hours or even a day or two to get a reply from both numbers. Wait until you have recevied the reply from both numbers. Step 3: In the replies, you will (hopefully) see a list of services that you somehow got subscribed to. To unsubscribe, you need to send the list number back to the number that you received the SMS from. So, for example, if you get a response from 800828 and you see in the list: `1 Facebook - 86677` then you need to send `1` (without quotes) to 800828. Step 4: Wait. Nothing may happen for a while. Give it a few hours, or even a day or two. Step 5: If you are lucky, you will get a message confirming that you have unsubscribed from the service. In this case, send another blank SMS to the same number to make sure you have unsubscribed.
