Registration of LLC

The first year I received this official looking notice for annual registration of our LLC, I foolishly paid the $150. This year, I read the fine print which states CFS is "not a government agency and does not contract with any government agency to provide this service". I suppose that protects them from prosecution, but it's an obvious sham.
