We ordered something from them a year and a half ago. I spoke with someone and promptly closed our account. Tonight while checking my bank statement, I noticed that there is a pending charge of $79.00. Of course, no one is there to answer their phone and the call goes directly to a generic voice mail.

The parent company of Seattle Coffee Direct is www.peel.com- the phone numbers on their website take you to SCD.

Hi all. An update. Someone actually answered the phone at SCD this morning. The customer service rep gave me some b.s. excuse that their servers crashed in September (two months ago) and that after manually re-entering everyone's information, some glitch caused everyone that had ever done business with them to be billed. YEAH EFFING RIGHT! The rep only told me this after I demanded to know why I'm being billed for something a year and a half after I canceled my account. Only after I informed her that last night I had filed complaints with IC3, the Illinois Attorney General and BBB was she willing to delete all of my information.

They will promise a refund but will not follow through.  They will blame a computer or server error - if you are lucky enough to get through to them. The parent company is Peel, Inc.  I'm just disgusted that they are ripping so many people off (including me!)... I actually contacted my local FBI office and they told me that unauthorized charges to your credit card IS CREDIT CARD FRAUD and is handled by the United States Secret Service Agency! I've already left a message with them and I will be filing a complaint and making them aware of Peel, Inc.  Please do the same...  Together we can expose this company!
