They have a history of complaints of harassing calls to people who do not owe alleged debts. Over the last month, similar complaints against them have been rising.

I know these guys. They want $1500 dollars for a $7000 credit card I never had in 1995. I started every call from them with, "its not mine". After two months or random calls it has stopped completely.

They have a long history of complaints of harassing the wrong people over unowed debts.
If they believed you owed it, they were required to send you a letter notifying you of your right to dispute within 5 days of their first call.
Their pattern of complaints indicates they are playing games with these "errors". Check your credit reports. If you find any erroneous information there, contact a consumer attorney. You might try www.naca.net
