Why won't all the cell phone providers give customers a 'call blocking' feature. I've received over 150 phone calls from the same (automated)telemarketer for the last 60 days. AT&T tells me that all they can do is change my number or to not answer my phone. Changing my phone number (after having it for 8 years) is a huge hassle...requiring me to notify friends, family and zillions of business contacts....plus requires me to have new bank-checks, business cards and stationary reprinted.

AT&T is a billion dollar company, yet says they don't have the technology available to block incoming calls. Meanwhile, I see that the Internet is filled with thousands of postings by people receiving repetative telemarketing calls.

I am amazed that this 'call blocking feature' isn't available. I've read hundreds of complaints from people who are receiving repetative (automated, voice recorded) calls. One woman accused her husband of cheating on her because of seeing unknown phone numbers on his phone. She had to Google the number to find out he was telling the truth about not knowing who called.

Thousands of people are being forced to have their numbers changes, simply because of getting repetative telemarketing calls. This is stupid and outrageous, to me.

I think it should be mandatory for service providers to offer cell phone users the capability to simply block annoying phone numbers. The technolgy is available. Yet, AT&T says it isn't.

I am very annoyed.
