Lifetime Fitness is the worst!  After suspending my membership with a Dr. Notice, they just automatically started charging my credit card again.  I am no way ready to go back to the fitness center, so like they do in elementary school, they need another Doctor's notice.  I am also not currently employed, and this is crazy that a simple call will not fix this.  "it's not their policy"   They are worse than any other sales people or business.  It's all about how they can bleed you dry!

    If they are taking your money while blocking your access to their services, contact your local District Attorney.

    I went on Medical Leave and they charged my account for the last 6 months.  you are correct they are slippery con artists. Today I went in to cancel my membership and they refused to let me sign off.  They have a new way of cancelling every time you go in there.
