STREETWISE 5- Who decides??

Last night after work I went to the kfc drive-through in Orkney. As usual I ordered my favourite, streetwise 5, with no wings. The lady rudely said they had to give me a wing. I had to ask for the manager before they reluctantly changed the wing..I've been going to the same place for about 10 years.
My question is: WHO DECIDES??? AM I NOT THE PAYING CUSTOMER AFTER ALL?!
WHY SHOULD THE SNOTTY, INADEQUATE STAFF MEMBERS DECIDE WHAT I CAN AND CANNOT GET???
DOES THE OFFER NOT READ FIVE PIECES? AND IF ITS FIVE PIECES, IT SHOULD BE MY CHOICE, SHOULDN'T IT?? THE OFFER DOESN'T SAY 'FOUR PIECES OF YOUR CHOICE, AND ONE OF OURS.'
C'mon management, whats going on?
