Spoof calls for no reason every day, today’s calls came from (561) 609-3717 and +1 (954) 893-3512.  They make two calls.  The first is from a local number to get you to answer or call back.  When you do the second call is the scam or fraud attempt.  The first call will leave a blank voice mail.  When you call back you may hear commotion kids crying traffic, etc.....  they will say they didn’t call you.  Which is a lie.  Keep in mind both calls can come from spoof numbers.  The key is not to answer.  If they don’t leave a audible voice mail the call wasn’t important, block the number, report it as spam , if you get calls from bandwidth, peerless, or google numbers report the calls to them on their websites.   Apps like text now or other text mail apps use numbers from those providers and the spammers use them to call us.  Ask the carrier to block your number in their network so their users can’t call you.  They will and it will last a couple months.  The caller will switch services.  If you get your number blocked on all three at the same time the callers can’t call you but the people you know or want to talk to can .
