I first contacted HP regarding using favorite PS/2 keyboard with USB adapter. It would not recognize the keyboard. They sent me to Microsoft-the number I found was actually Guru Aid - they have their company disquised in the blue links you use to connect.

The agent took 90 minutes of my time to work on my PC remotely through LogMeIn.com. It seems legit at first, and fascinating what they can do from India to navigate through your computer. he showed me drastic errors in Registry Editor, Event viewer, processes that were STOPPED in task Manager and kept referring to my critical Kernel Power errors that would need the help of a Senior Technician.

I refused to pay $99 for a quick fix and was offered $299 for 2 years protection. I was looking up this site on IPad while he was "running a search" on my PC. None of this had anything to do with solving my keyboard issue. They just try to scare you into thinking you have to pay large sums of money for them to protect you- when they are the ones you need protection from! My PC is only 4 months old , running well, and I deleted the file they had me download. So glad to find this site Nd save my money!

Notice all the letters missing from the company rebuttal below: he said he checks coplaint wire!

    I thought I was calling Microsoft when I got Lester Inc they said they represented them. I just needed a simple question answered about redownloading Microsoft word. They said they would need to establish remote assistace to make sure I have no viruses.After 20 or so minutes they  downloaded all my files. And tryed to tell me I have viruses and wanted to sell me something. I had just had my computer rebooted so it was like new  prior to there call. Now Im affraid to go on line with any of my accounts because these people from India I spoke with will probably clean out my bank accounts if they get my pass word from online banking..

      dont worry they will not do anything wrong with ur personal file n folders even they wont be oen ur any data
