Who the hell are these people? They refuse to stop calling. Whenever I ask for any company info they hang up. When I tell them I am in the DNC registry they call me names and hang up. The number comes up as disconnected when I call back. The area code and exchange are from Temperanceville, VA but the VA State Police have no idea who or where they are. The FBI is looking into it now.

    Although the ealiest complaint against this number shows up a year ago, there have been 21 pages of complaints here since 2 weeks ago!

    They appear to be some sleazy telemarketing call center, engaged in selling "reduce your credit card rates" plans, "auto warranties", Dish Network, work at home scams, etc.

    They appear to be using spoofed phone numbers supposedly from various states from VA, to MN, NH, CT.  Many reports of Do Not Call violations.

    M.O. appears to match a telemarketer actually based in Florida, known for shady "debt settlement" or "lower your rates" scams.

      Well yes there is lots of Scam campaigns going on through out US and Canada .. most of them are located in ASIA.. specially in India and few were located in Pakistan too..  specially about Dish Network scam you receive call's saying some thing like ... this is Agent [name] with Employe id xxx calling from dish network ..and after introducing him self or her self they come up with a offer of buy 6 month and get 6 month free with 2 movie channels HBO and Cennimax etc..

    I called them and asked if they were associated with the number 797-990-8981, which has repeatedly called our home about either car warranties or credit card rates.  The woman who answered said they were associated with that number.  My advice is to call them and asked to be removed from their calling list, as well as complain to the proper authorities.  I'm beginning to think that might very well be the Plantation, FL police department.  Let's get these guys!!!

    I use to work for the auto warranty company in Plantation,Fl you are correct about the scam. They make about $250,000 a week in deals scaming elderly people. They purposely target older individuals because of vulnerability. I quit because the environment was completely unprofessional, there are no backround checks for employees, there are convicted felons who have disclosed to me that they steal credit card numbers and information from individuals.

    I was absolutely shocked how they taught us in training how to treat customers. We were told to hang up if they ask for a supervisor, curse them out if they get upset, and lie to them saying we are going to take there name off the list.

    I only stayed for a week. I'm an honest person and it was unbearable hearing people as old as 93 begging and pleading for the phone calls to stop. I'm going to inform my local tv station, this place needs to be shut down. We read from scripts, lying about how long we have been in business and that we are affilated with numerous manufactors and dealerships nationwide and in Canada. We even have to lie about what we cover for people's cars.

    Its an auto dialer system, we don't have anyone's phone number, what they make us do is look at your telephone number when it comes through and look it up on white pages.com.

    They tell us to sell urgency, to lie and tell the customer that your manufactor and dealer of your vehicle informed us that your warranty has expired and that this your last and final call(which it isn't). $50 bucks a deal. When people try to cancel
    they still charge their credit cards.

    They won't sell to anyone in Florida because they fear being found. Even the number is bogus, for Miami the only area code being used are 954, 305, 754, and 561.

    The quality of people, services offered, and that sense of urgency is bogus!!! Please people be smart, if you want an extended warranty speak with your dealership first because I quit this job because of the obvious scam we were taught to do to innocent people. If you see this information on your phone RUN!!!!!

    Received a call from this number today April 30, 2009, the lady kept insisting that they could LOWER MY INTEREST RATE on MY CREDIT CARD.  After me repeatedly asking her WHICH credit card are you referring to, she got rude.  Then when I told her that I was reluctant to give her any of my personal information because she couldnt tell me specifically what card she was referring to along with the fact that the call came up on my Caller ID as a CELLULAR CALL... she slammed the phone down on me.  I WILL be making a report to the Attorney General's Office.

    My call was from "Warranty Service Division" about extending the warranty on a car I have not owned in 4 years.  I stayed on the line and pressed "2" to be removed.

    I have received this same call about warranty extensions from about 3 or 4 different numbers.  I guess they change their phone number to keep from being found.

    I have been receiving calls from that number 757-990-8981 for approximately the last 3 months, sometimes as many as 4 times a day.  I have pressed 1 to speak to a person and ask them to quit calling me; I have pressed 2 to take my number off of their list.  I have written to the Federal Communications Commission 2 times and talked to my local phone company.  Five weeks ago I started documenting every call.  In the past 4 weeks I have documented 30 phone calls. Recently starting on April 29th, I started receiving calls from New Market, MD 301-882-9986 and from Denver, CO 303-656-4565; new numbers but same message plus the original number of 757-990-8981.  Today I have received 5 calls so far from Sales Dept. 804-234-9010.  The same message again.  I have tried to call every one of these numbers only to be told by a recording that it is out of service.  Every single call is about being my final warning to lower my interest rates on my credit cards.  I of course am on the "do not call" list.  I am at my wits end as what to do.

    Don't ever give these people your information they shouldn't call you asking you for your personal information such as credit cards and etc. Only scammers do. I get these calls one time was dealing with car warranty I gave them a 1987 Yugo had over 300,000 miles and had bad fuel injector leak they hang up. LOL

    I got a call from these people with "lower interest rates" for the third time today, before noon. They call every day, using different numbers. I have pressed one on at least a dozen occasions in the past, and informed the "live" telemarketer who answers that we are on the Do Not Call List, and they are not allowed to call our phone numbers at home. In the past the telemarketer said "I can call any number I want to, try to stop me".
    Today the girl called me the "B" word, and said "you sound like you have a "D" in your mouth. I asked to speak to her supervisor, and she told me "he doesn't want to talk to you", and continued to call me names, make obscene remarks to me, and would not hang the phone up. She said she will call back any time she wants to. I told her that it is against the law for them to call our number, and I am reporting them. She called me "stupid", and "trash", and asked me if my husband forgot to "F" me this morning and beat the "sh*t" out of me before I answered the phone. I kept asking her for her supervisor, and she continued with her offensive remarks and name calling.
    I have reported this company to the FCC, the Better Business Bureau, and the State Attorney Generals Office.
    When you ask what the name of their company is, they always say "Client Services". The phone number changes all the time.

    If nothing is done to stop these harassing and offensive phone calls, I am going to contact the investigative teams at TV network news and suggest that they need to find out who these offensive telemarketers are.

    I feel your pain.  I've been getting calls from the 301-882-9986 number as well.  They've been rude and in a couple of instances they have hung up when I asked too many questions.  I did take the opportunity to tell one of the reps who called last week (and sounded straight out of the Sopranos) that I'd already asked them to stop with the calls and that I think they're a shady business.

    Today I asked to have my name removed from the list by calling the number back and keying in my 10-digit number.  This was after another sleazy rep hung up when I told her I'd already asked to be removed.  God only knows if this will help or hurt me.  If I get one call from these dirtbags in July, I'm bringing in the Feds.

    I saw we each complain to their landlord every time we get a call to annoy the crap out of them until they give the tenant the boot!
