Earlier this month I had received an email to me from Matt Williams, Senior Investigator of the NCS Law Group. The contents of that email was telling me that they wanted me to verify my mailing address, because legal charges were already filed and they were going to send court papers to me, so they wanted me to confirm my mailing address before sending out important legal documents. I was told that they wanted to work out a sensible solution with them if I indeed wanted to get rid of the consequences that might follow if I didn't and that I could get back to him at the following contact information as follows:
Matt Williams,
Sr. Investigation Officer
NCS Law Group
Direct: (315) 215-0407
I sent an email back to them the same day to let me know from them who the creditor was and the the outstanding amount balance owed. This email was replied back to the same day telling me basically what Matt Willimas said in the intial email he sent out. Five days later I received an email from the Anderson Law Group. in that email they told me that they had no response from their statements in the past three months nor from the letters that were sent me regarding my credit card bill, with no mention of the credit card company's name. They harrassed me in that if they told me that unless they received payment from me in seven days, a deadline on January 29, 2014 or that a mutual agreement could be worked out to discharge this obligation, they had no other way, but to report this matter to the retail credit bureau. Subsequently the account will be turned over for further legal action against me. Towards the end of the email they told me for my information the total balance on my credit card was in the amount of $873.00 and that this was the last email that I would be receiving from them and would not be responsible for any further damages on my credit score.
