    You are dealing with a "health product" cramming scam.

    Dispute unauthorized charges through your bank, and block the card number or close the account due to fraud to prevent additional fraudulent charges.  Follow up with a written dispute or fraud affidavit sent to your bank's dispute address.

    Do NOT waste your time trying to get your money back from any scam through the scammer.  Always immediately file a bank dispute, as that is usually the only way you will ever get your money back.  If you leave your account or card number active, you can expect additional monthly charges, probably around $58 to $150, until you get wise and shut it down.  The couple buck charge was just a teaser to get your account number, and a test that it was valid.

    The game they will play is to try to delay your bank dispute past the 60 day FRB Reg. E or FCBA dispute period, after which your bank will be unlikely to be able to get your money back.  To do this they will use various excuses, like "mailing an information packet" that never comes, "cancelling your membership" but they lose the "cancellation" so monthly charges continue, requiring you to get, and send in, a "refund request" that never has any effect, having to call a "refund number" that is ignored, or the cancellation "lost", etc...

    File fraud complaints with FTC, your state AG, and at www.ic3.gov

      Yes, these scammers should be shut down !  I did order product, only sample, but Somnapure was seni to me and I was billed $74.98 on my credit card. I am trying to get a refund.  The invoice said next ship date will be 0001-01-01.....that doesn't enen make sense ! How could the year be 01?

    Total scam.  They make you give them your credit card number "for shipping and handling" for your free sample.  Then if you don't call to cancel in 14 days (you have to remember to do this, even though they didn't tell you that part), you automatically start getting a periodic supply, even if you don't want it.  It is automatically charged to the credit card you used for shipping and handling.  Once you get in the loop, if your bank is not very active in your affairs, you will have a hard, hard, time stopping the shipments and charges.   When you want to complain, you have to call Somnapure, so they can tell you the address where to send this crap back to.   A total scam from beginning to end.  These guys need to be prosecuted.

      i threw the junk in the trash, because that's what it is JUNK. My PNC bank  is giving me a hard time. At first they told me to destroy my card so they couldn't bill me anymore, then they wouldn't give me a new debit card. It's been almost 3 weeks and no card yet. Yesterday they charged me $7.50 for a new one. I haven't received it yet.

    I called 1-877-869-3304. They were very helpful and gave me a full refund. Obviously some of us didn't read the small print about cancelling within 14 days. I was extremely upset when I was charged, but when I went to their website I got the phone number and called. Try to do that before you complain online or cancel cards.

      Thanks Kandi great info, I called to cancel and offered me a cost of 49.99 monthly of course I refused I guessed I overlooked the info of the price while ordering and of course they had sent out the shipment.
      I haven't tried them yet don't know if they even work for me.

      I tried calling Customer Service today, Sat. Sept. 21, 2012 and a message came on giving the hours....Sat. hours 8am to 4:33pm......it is 8:20am.!

    I ordered a free sample of 14 pills on a trial basis and agreed to a 3.50 shipping charge they sent me 30 pills and charged 35.00 on my card. I am in the process of blocking any futher charges,
    be ware this is a scam by crooked [***] dont fall for this.

    I fell for the free sample bull crap, to try the sleep aid one night which they DID NOT WORK. threw them away & now my bank is being drained from something that wasn't even discussed with me. why would I order a product that doesn't work? how is it possible you aren't shut down after clearly scamming all of us ? ^^^^

    Im going to file a fraud charge and file a civil suit if my refund isn't put back on my card. I got charged & never even got anything sent. I didn't even get the booklet or anything just a ghetto packaged sleep aid bottle. this is nuts.

    I ordered the peak life sample, just paid s&p, before I knew it, I saw a e-mail from peak life, for another order that I did not order, it was only a few minutes, after I ordered the sample, I called my bank, immediately, and they stopped payment, then a few days later, they tried to bill me again for $184.00, my bank shut down my card, and gave me a new one, a different card #, really messed up my way of paying my legal bills, had to call, and change every thing, but I do have to say that the sample that I did receive, did help my sleep, sad that it is a ok product, but they are out for everybody that orders, they could do this legally, but they choose to rip people off, what a shame, shame on peak life!
