Scam - fraud - agreement

This company had a representative fraudulently have us sign up for a credit card terminal.  We told them that we didn't need it and the salesman told us that we had to agree to it in order to get the $50.00 flat rate processing fee.  He said that he would take care of it right afterwards.  A few days later we got a debit from our bank and when we called the salesman he said it was a mistake and that I would be credited.  When the bank gave me the name of the company LFG, I called them and they told me that I was in a non-cancellable lease for this credit card terminal.

The salesman picked up the credit card terminal from my shop (as I said, I already had one that I owned and was not in the market for a new one) - he submitted to me and the BBB in writing that they have the machine and that my business is not under any further obligation.  This company does not answer complaints, letters, emails, faxes or phone calls.  They debited my account every month.  Finally we had to close our business account.

After that, a caller would call us 15-20 times per day.  Saying very nasty comments such as..."I'm so sorry that you are poor and out of work" "You obviously can't get a job making more than $7.40 an hour - which min wage" etc.  I would ask him to hold, I would ask him not to call me, I even addressed all of the complaints that I read online and class action lawsuits but he just got nastier.

Not sure what to do in a situation like this.  How come the state can not shut them down?
