Hello, my name is Diana Mendez. In August 2010 my husband bought at Home Depot Store # 222, 2300 S University in Davie, FL 33324 a gasoline pressure washer machine. The model is HUSKY HU80709, serial number is AM1064443, 2.4 gpm, 2600psi. About 20 days ago when we were using the mashine started to notice a few drops of oil on the floor and sound strange, I went to Home Depot to make the claim because it should still be under warranty, unfortunately I mislaid the invoice and I told them the serial number etc but they don't even try to attended the complaint, I insisted several times and told me they could not help me in anything  that the only thing that I could do is TRY to communicate directly with HUSKY customer service. I began my tortuous walk through innumerable phone calls to their famous customer service specialists, who mysteriously hang up the phone, put ME in any amount of waiting time until you get tired and they do not call back, and after countless departments told to diferen people the same information again and again NO ONE gave me an answer or solution. This whole warranty claim trip that turns into a nightmare lasted two weeks, went back to using the machine on Sunday on 28 November to be exact and after 15 minutes of use, oil with water shooting everywhere and the machine completely lost the pressure and did not work again. I want to know which newspaper, website or billboard I have to put my claim to be heard by anyone serious and give me a solution ASAP. BY the way my e-mail just in case miracles exist .. dpatricia_1967@yahoo.com.mx

We also purchased an Hu80709 from Home Depot, and the pump has cracked
and failed twice in two years. Very poor relibaility and no response or interest from Husky. I would never recommend this product to anyone.

I bought mine from Home Depot. About 3 years ago. Biggest piece of junk I ever purchased. Twice each year, I have to take the carburator apart, and clean the needle valve, as it sticks in the seat. Can't start it. Pulled the starter rope so many times, the outer sheath unraveled, and the rope is jammed. Trying to find replacement pull-rope.

Husky brand is a very cheap consumer brand tool made in China.  If you do any kind of shopping around you will notice that any good name brand tool will cost 2 or 3 times more than anything Husky, Homelite, or Ryobi brand.  I guess you get what you pay for.  Husky does not care about your complaints because they probably have thousands of complaints similar to yours daily.  They have already made their money off you.  If you cannot afford to buy a nice American or Japanese made power tool than you should ask yourself if you really need to buy one.  Maybe rent one instead.

I purchased mine from Home Depot and it worked for 15 minutes.  After replacing numerous parts, the water pump was leaking water everywhere.  No one wanted to fix it and Husky wont respond to me.

I bought the Husky HU80709 some years ago. Had mild success with it then it stopped working. Engine wouldn't stay on. Out of frustration I just let it sit for a long time. Eventually I had it serviced at a reputable shop, thinking I did something wrong and it needed to be repaired. Just tried using it today for the first time after service and it worked great for about 10 minutes, then the engine shut down and would not restart. After reading all the complaints at least I know it's not just me.... Home Depot doesn't even sell Husky pressure washers anymore. Gee, I wonder why? Out of luck and a waste of $300.
