I have recieved about 6 calls 2 left voice mail on my old cell number. 1 voice mail was a man then a lady both had same accent. I did call back asking "Who did I call" they hang up! I hit redial and after 1 ring the call is disconnected! I called again after about 4 hours and got a person with a HEAVY ACCENT (hard to understand the person, Shaun is the name given. I did give him my name and after being on hold for 3 minutes he came back asking for the phone # I got the message on, I asked him "what is this about?" he stated he was going to handel the call or so I thought- he disconnected the call by hanging up his end. I got no other info from the company or person on the phone but I did hear what sounded like a TELEMARKET Call Center in the back ground. ( I have done telemarket sales before and know the sound of a lot of calls at one time)
I did some research for the number calling my friends phone (305)434-4079 is out of Monroe Florida. This has been reported to the BBB of South Texas and also to the FTC. I asked both the BBB & FTC if I can be sued without a Certified Letter being mailed to me, Both stated I should be sent a Certified Letter that I MUST sigh for....

    This is what happens when American Companies set up call centers in a backward country like India and give them technology and train them to use it. The hack into banking records and start the scams. Safe bet they are doing it right in the same call center that provides hard to understand tech support.

    I receive a call today for a man with an accent stating that he was call regarding a payday loan from Cash Advance and he said he had legal paper to bring to my home or my job with an officer of the Office of the Court from the State of Mississippi Sheriff Office to serve me with an arrest warrant and I will go to jail. He gave me the option of paying him $1000 and this would solve the case. Otherwise he would down load the case and I will go to jail(the name he gave me was Bob Smith and his supervisor name was Peter Black.

    LOL Bewilder.. i have been getting calls for about 3 weeks now on my work phone.. i am sure it is from a 3rc party buying up old online cash advances.  I am wondering if any of there little threats actually are working on anyone... can u imagine a poor old person answering there phone to this baloney... CRAZY!!  Indian accents... threating us...I called the number back privately for about an hour to piss em off..I let the guy curse me out while I held the phone away from my ear...lol.. said all sorts of obsenties...gonna make a prank call here soon.. say my name is leutienant so and so... and that we have there buildign surounded.  Come out one at a tiem....lol

    Did the prank.. got out this is leutienat so and so with the monroe county sheriff's department and you all need to get your ID's out.... and heard a curse word and hung up...lol  wonder if they will change their number or location now...

    I have gotten calls from this same number trying to tell em he is Officer Albert Smith. Same heavy accent, when I called the number back I got a lady said something revolutions services very hard to understand and when I asked what that was she said a law office. Yea I don't think so buddy. I don't know what they're trying to scam yet something about me being in big trouble over some crap. I'm going to answer next time and talk to this "Officer Smith" and tell him where to shove it!
