Contacted 8 times and asked to be put on do not call on 1st call

In the past month, I have received 8 calls asking me to get an ADT security system.  On the first phone call, I stated I was not interested and to please put me on the do not call list.  On every call I asked to be put on their do not call list.  On the 8th phone call, the man yelled at me saying I told you I would do it, when I stated please put me on the do not call list I have asked this many time.  Isn't there some kind of penalty for what they are doing?  Also on my called id their phone number shows up as 1.

    Contact your Attorney General, find out what state agency licenses alarm companies like ADT, and file a complaint with them.

    Alise are they telling you they are from ADT.I am having the same problem but they say they are with general electric wireless security system.They have called anywhere from 15 to 20 times in the last two months.I keep telling please stop calling i am on the do not call list and they reply so.They have threatened me and cussed me out as far as telling me to go F...myself after i told them i was going to report them to the FTC for the third time.I haven't reported them on each call.They have called me twice today along with ann from cardholder services.You cant even move away from the phone before they call again one after another.The number today was 401-943-4903.
