Why should they answer when they did intend to take your money, and don't feel like giving it back?

We have a new generation of scams operating who create the appearance of a business so they can get access to the EFT systems, and then run thru a bunch of small fraudulent charges scattered over many victims, counting on the banks to ignore investigating them because the small size of each charge makes it cheaper to just pay the loss to the customer.  Although each fraud is small, the total can be quite large.

Dispute the fraudulent charge thru your bank.  Contact them immediately to dispute the charge and change your card number to prevent further fraud.  Request and send in a fraud affidavit.

1/4 a charge of 9.95 appeared on my cc statement. I did not authorize this charge.  I don't even know what this company is.  I typed in the web address, because there # wasn't on the statement. I sent a very nasty comment.  I said I would be contacting my lawyer, and the better business burearu, if they did not credit my account.  I'll let you know what happens.

Don't fail to dispute this with your CC company.  It is a far more effective way to get your money back, and if they get lots of chargebacks, the chargeback fees may start hurting them.  Scammers already know it isn't worth it for you to actually sue them for small charge fraud like this.

Contact them immediately to notify them the charge is fraudulent, and change your account number to block future fraudulent charges.  Dispute it IN WRITING with your bank, including sending a fraud affidavit.  Your bank must receive your written dispute of unauthorized or fraudulent charges within 60 days of the date of the statement showing the charge to preserve your FCBA rights.

I HIGHLY advise anyone who is even thinking of giving out your card info to stop dead in your tracks. I learned a very valuable lesson that so far has cost me almost $200 because I thought I opted in on a very lucritive business idea. If you signed up for GrowingRichWithGoogle and the $1.95 S&H only cd, you got duped just like me. Thank God (literally)I had enough smarts to print EVERYTHING. In very small print at the very end of the agreement AFTER you have typed in all your account info, is the fees for BSM/Grant Search and NetworkAgenda. Yep, it states right in that teeny tiny print what they plan on bilking you for monthly. If you feel that you want to try one of these promotionals, buy a prepaid card and put only the amount they are supposedly charging you for your membership. Oh and by the way, you'll never get a response from them. I have my bank attorney working on charging them for fraud.
