Cancelled seat without notice!

My seat on a flight from Xi'an to Beijing was cancelled by Expedia. They informed me of the cancellation afetr the flight left. It took me multiple phone calls to try and resolve this. Expedia refused to take responsibility, blamed the airlines for it etc. The customer service is a sham, they ask for a call back number but never call back when the calls are lost.

If anyone knows how to take this complaint to the next level let me know.

In any case stay away from Expedia, you are better off spending few extra dollars and making sure you have a secured seat on a flight.

    Expedia charged me $20 more than the rate the hotel would have charged.  I know this because the hotel also charged me for the room.  The hotel, La Quinta, charges $52 per room, Expedia charged me $74 per room.  When I asked Expeida to charge the hotel standard rate they declined, said that is the way it is.
    So I booked two rooms, paid an additional $20 per room, and get double billed by Expedia and the hotel.  Now add an hour on the phone to hear they do not match the price and the double charge has not been resolved yet.

    I have used Priceline in the past, will stick with that.
