Damage to my home

I just recently bought a house that needed a lot of work done to it before I could move in. I redid the house from top to bottom and when i had a direct tv technician come out to install service he completely destroyed areas of my house! First of all, when I placed the order originally through Verizon, I ordered HD service... the technician showed up with standard equipment and proceeded to tell me that he could install the wrong equipment so i can at least have my account set up and then i could call them to get an 'upgrade'... when i did this Direct TV was going to charge me $200 to upgrade equipment that was installed due to the technician's advice... sorry no thank you. I faught them on that upgrade fee and they said that they would give it to me for nothing since it was in fact an error on the technician's part for doing the installation in the first place. I was working on the house at this time so I could not follow the tech around the house while he was working, but told him that I have a 2 year old so I need all the wires hidden... well that didn't happen.... he drilled a hole right in the newly painted wall of my office that leads outside to the dish... the wire in the office is just thrown in the room, not tacted down or hidden at all.... he drilled a hole right in my hardwood floors in my living room to the basement... and they proceeded to to drill a hole in my hardwoods again behind my TV in the living room to run a cable down to the basement. His drill died so he was unable to remove the drill bit from the floor so it is still there... instead of fixing that error he took the cable from the TV down my basement steps, up my laundry room wall and over into my basement... I now have 4 wires just hangining from my basement ceiling. UNACCEPTABLE. I have 2 holes drilled through my back doorframe... and a live wire that is not connected to anything in my basement that is just hanging and easily accessible to my daughter and dogs. DIRECT TV IS HORRIBLE!!!! They refused to send anyone out to fix the damages and directed me to the damage department which has yet to get back to me.... OUTRAGEOUS! Channel 6 Action News here I come!
