sagging in chattanooga
Country: United States
I purchased a mattress from a local store in October 2011.  By January of 2012 One quadrant began to sag.  I can no longer sleep on it and had to buy a replacement 2 months after my first complaint.  no one responded.  I began to make a claim in July and still have not been helped.  The manufacture blames the local company who sold the bed and they blame the manufacture.  I put the bed in storage and the manufacture wants me to get it down to "take measurements" to prove it is faulty. If they had told me this earlier I could have done so.   Frankly it is way to heavy for me to simply get it down and put it back up.  They have refused to help.  The plant manager in charge implied I simply had changed my mind about the bed.  I explained if this were the case It would be in my guest room, instead we are using a 10 year old mattress in that room so that our guests do not wake up with a bad back.  The mattress is faulty and no one is taking reponsibility.   Neither  wants to be out the money I gave them.  It does not seem to matter that I am out the money.  Any tips for at least getting them to pick up the bed and measure it them selves, if not getting a refund or a new be?  This is crazy! So much for customer service!  Customers should be treated with dignity and respect, not as if they are seeking to steal a new mattress.
