1,000.00 wal-mart gift card

We just received a text saying, "You have just won a $1,000.00 wal-mart gift card. This is a scam..and Wm should put a stop to this. Something to entice teen-agers or elderly into getting more money from them, playing games or whatever online...this company should also be made to reward these people the gift card, and maybe they will stop their scam...and if this is something wal-mart authorized, then they should be held accountable....wal-mart gets the majority of our money every month anyway. don't know how we can give them any more...We are a retired couple, and my husband's mind is not good, and fell for this, I told him to let me check into this first., because, we had not signed up for a card, contest or anything else.....but he would have tried to get it, and be charged, no telling what amount...If this is a scam with AT&T, then they should be ashamed of themselves, and give a free month of service....thanks for listening....this needs to be reported to the ATTY Generals office as well
